i don't know if it is me or if it is becauce i was taught so much false teachings growing up, or maybe that the watch tower publications are about a 10th grade level and when i read a thoughtful article i want to believe it.

but boy, television media seems to present the public with truths the same way the watchtower presents its truth.

with 10 minute sound bites, never getting to deep and really not explaining very well the history of some of the subjects.just a thought!

I have it....but the 1990 version and is in Greek...I really curious to see the 2004 version, with all those "new lights"it will be interesting..hope that someone(undercover apostate)will give us the scans

who likes Battlestar Gallactica?

i am curious how many of you watch this.

i find it far more fascinating than many other shows, but i am biased, always had a flair for traditional horror as well as quality sc-fi.

but the producers intentionally dumb down the special effects (filmed in hd but virtually posterized for effect outdoors) so as to focus on the plot lines and character development.

I did watch all the Episodes of the 80's, and I have also watched the new series of the Battlestar Galactica.

1.The 80's actors I find them more interesting as characteurs, plus they were more alive in their roles

2.Ok we are in the 3rd Millenium and for sure technology for sci-fi is high, and for sure I like it more from the technology from the 80's( I was teenager then hopping that the end will come and we JW's are going to use space technology to travel in space, kind of Gallactica!)

3. They kept close to the original senario, but they added Cylons in human forms living among the survivors of the destruction. Those Cylons some they turned more human in feelings. That wasn't in the first Galactica...Cylons=Evil machines that kill humans

4. So if I could mix the old characteurs with the new filming it would be greate

What a statement by the GB...This show that they completely fear of KNOWLDEDGE plus they are a banch of ignorants regarding History....

What the GB forgets to tell to the JWs and specially to the 22,000 Greek JW's it is in what language the Gospel was preached? And why the Jews needed a Greek translation of the Hebrew Scriptures?And why does the WT accepts the Greek translation of the 70.

And if indeed my Greek ancestors under Satans direction managed to turn the Jews away from YHWH, then we have managed to turn the entire world way from Jesus, since again through Satan we insert "Platonic teachings"in Jesus Gospel. that was spread, preached, and written by the Apostles through the Greco/roman world because of the Hellenic language.

And the WT accepts the Biblical Canon that was set by the Apostolic Church with Saint Athanasios(Greek) in the 4th century A.D. So accepting a Bible that came out from Greeks under Satans direction, doesn't make WT devil's advocate???

I did have reached up to the Advance and Resque Diver by NAUI. It was more than 12 years I did the courses. But as I have seen the standarts for both PADI and NAUI have gone really down the drain. Back then NAUI had better standarts from PADI, but now both are the same.

The standarts at that time would make me now Instructor!!!

We had navigation courses, navigating your self underwater with compass. We had night dives, dives in caves, mathematics - how to use lifting bags to bring up to the surface an object. We also practice underwater with lifting bags. We also had extreme training that included diving in a stormy weather, take your gear underwater completely - you are left only with mask and fins and then wear it again. Or we had to put all of our diving gear in to 15 metters depth, then we had to do free dive, and start to put the gear on. Sometimes our instructor was shutting the air from the regulator in order to see our reaction!!!

There are many ancient mysteries in the world regarding Allien interfearance in human history. I will give some examples regarding those mysteries starring from my Greek backround. All are based on Astronomical facts and Scientific observance

1.The Argonauts that started the exhibition, if you look the Astronomical references is dating back 10,500 years

2.Odysseus he wasn't wandering in the Medditerenean Sea, but he was somewere in the American Continent. This is prooved by the astronomical observations of his trip, and the length of time(calculating the speed of the ancient Greek ships had) that he needed to reach Ithake his Island between Italy and Hellas. He was out from Gilbratar.

3.The Hymns of Dionisus. They describe astronomical observations 10,500 years ago(supposed to be the Neolithic Era)and the seasons of the year.At that time we had 2 seasons

4.The Kythera Computer. It was found on a Greek ship 2100 years old, and descirbes with Great accurasy Celestial movements of the plannets.Still they are trying to figure out how it was working

5.There was a Turkish pirate named Pirei Reis. When he was captured(it was few years after the fall on the capitol of the New Roman Constantinoupolis,1453 A.D)in his possetion were found ancient maps. They asked him who give him that maps, he said he found them in a Greek ship, and they were copy of ancient maps!!!

Those Greek maps had the Globe, the way it is now. With only one difference. THERE WAS NO ICE ON THE POLLS. When scientists much the Greek maps, with the scanned land mass of the polls they match EXACTLY...Those maps the only way that they have to be created is through satelite photographs!!! There is no other way to be done. The accuracy is amazing

6.Plato in the Dialog with Critias, he was talking with the Egyptian priest reagarding Atlantis. Atlantis was very advanced technologically, and they managed to create the perfect state. Then they become arrogants and the human instict overcame the Spiritual form they own and they started to use their power for evil purposes. The priest said that you Greeks are like small children, you have forgotten your history. We are relative nations and you set us free from the Atlantean occupation. After that the Gods decided to destroy Atlantis with a flood. It was 10,500 years ago.

7.The ancient Greeks used to build their temples with sacred geometry. All major temples have a mathematical connection forming triancles. Fighter Greek pilots they said when they are following the lines of the sacret geometry the aircrafts consume lesser fuel!!!

8.In mountain Olympus (the palace of the Gods)we have witness very often U.F.O sightings

These are some facts regarding Hellenic history. But there are so many others in the world that show us we are not alone, or at least in the past there was advanced techology on earth, and 10,500 ago humans were not in the neolithic era.

1.The pyramids I believe they hold great mysteries. The sphinx is 10,500 years old!!! The corrusion of the base of the sphinx is done by water and that was 10,500 years ago when Egypt wasn't a desert. The hieroglyphics and paintings show advanced technology, like hellicopters, plus the written history of the Egyptians goes back 7000 years

2.The Nasca lines in Peru, can only seen from space, and they seemed to be landing sides of UFO's. We have description of Allien visitors from Incas, Mayias, carved in stones. Astranauts with their space suits, and not to mention the Astronomical accuracy of those civilazations, and their Allien God that came from space named Quazaquatl. Half human half reptilian

3.In the Indian tradition we have a description of a neuclear war. Flighing machines, and advanced technology. Not to mention the mysteries of Tibet.

I'm not sure if UFO's are from other plannets, or they are from this world. Maybe are the remains of an advanced Civilazation on earth that collapsed due to human factor. Maybe history is repeating it self and we are leading our world to another destruction, to a New Submerging of the Atlantis

I know that Goverments are trying to hide from us the real truth because it doesn't fit them..besides "the truth is out there".....

How would the Society give up 1914?

during the 1930's when the society was quietly moving jesus' presence from 1874 to 1914, it only seemed to ruffle a few feathers and most accepted this "brighter light.

I believe they have already did this, quitely. They don't mention about it since 1995. Plus the "classification" of the Generation changed 2 times from 1995. If a young JW was 10 back in 1995, today is 24 so it wan't have any meaning to that person. I know a lot of new JW's that don't have a clue about the importance of 1914 prior 1995.

It is just a date, among the many dates that WT is using to confuse the minds of the people. Does anyone recall what they used to teach back in 1874, 1878, 1918,1925? The answer is no one. Only for us that left WT and we realize that they are just a banch of false prophets

They don't need to give up 1914, since they change the meaning of that date. The famous generation that was supposed to see the end died, and the new understanding of the generation it means the annointed ones, those who will be alive to see Armageddon. So we will always have annointed ones,since the door of the heavenly call opened after 79 years(this is the 2nd time that happens in the WT world. It was closed in 1878 during Russell days, and re-opened after 1916 to close again in 1931) in 70 years from now they will still have annointed people, so they have extended the time for the end as long as it takes. But what they are saying is the end is near, they need the fear of the Big A to get new members.

They will just try to fake the Historical evidence of 607 B.C as they do it already. They do this in the human history by claiming that humans are only for 6000 years on earth., while Anthropologists, records, relics, show a complete diffent evidence. The neolithic Era goes back 10,500 years, but again the WT does not accept that evidence, since it is agains their wacko theology
