  i've been watching from the sidelines for a while... reading about your experiences and it has helped me a lot!!!.

  i am a 27 yo girl, i converted into a jw @ 20, at was going thru a difficult time in my life and they bastards sucked me in!!!

  i did not realize how controlling things were going to get... about 1 year into my study i moved w another single sister and then baptize, looking back i think i went thru w baptism because i fell pressure by the "loving" congregation that wanted the best for me... i remember coming out of the pool and one of the brothers saying "another victim" and taking a pic of me... anyways, that wasn't the worst of it.... remember single female!!

  Yeah...agreed trueone. Almost feeling like the Canucks don't even deserve it for playing so brutally bad in 3 games this series. Outscored 16-1 so far in Boston? Not acceptable.

  was checking out the aug. 1 public watchtower and the our readers ask... is does god dwell in one place?

  think there was something in an awake a few months back about this.

  Wow, that noah's ark thing blows my mind. It's so blatant. I just went and read Genesis 6 and 7 and at NO POINT does god tell noah to warn anybody.

  Same here, JonH...crazy isn't it? I threw out all my WT publications out, but for some reason held onto the NWT bible. So after undercover pointed this out, I dug it out and blew the dust off of it and read the entire section in Genesis. Nothing! Couldn't believe it.

  Noah warning everyone of impending doom and the parallels to our day is such a major theme of WT doctrine. And yet, they completely made it up! Seems there is no end to discovering the extent of their lies.

  Well, I would intrude on other people's properties, knock on their doors and interrupt their precious time. All to deliver a message that judges the way they live and informs my God is going to kill them if they don't take these publications and become a JW.

  Assisted suicide

  we are watching a program about author terry pratchett and his coming to terms with alzheimer's and assisted suicide.... i am a believer in that we as human beings, who have free will, have a right to decide when and how we die... why can animals be put out of their misery when dying a painful death??

  why can't we as humans make that decision??.

  in belgium assisted suicide is legal, but if you go out there and your loved one goes with you, when your loved one comes back they stand a chance of being prosecuted.... i said to carrot ''humans should be allowed that right to decide when to die''.... carrot replied with ''it's illegal because you will have people just doing it so they are not a burden on their family''.... it seems to be a very touchy subject with people, especially on this program.. i would be very interested in some thoughts on the subject.... peace.

  I tend to agree with you watersprout...should be within one's rights.
