Did you really want to live forever?

even when i was a kid i thought that forever was too long.

i thought it may get boring.

especially when they said we'd stop eating meat.

yes of course, why would I want to die one day. I never wake up and say God I want this to be my last day living on earth that is obviously stupid.

living with the same partner for billions of years man you don't know what love is find the special other half you need and things will get better.

don't think about it is not just for you to decide what is gonna be later on whether you like it or not having your own ideas is good but that is not universal find hope there is still.

you are just a human who doesn't know all the secrets in life enjoy yours and don't drive yourself crazy with questions you can't understand now go and learn about science, law, religious beliefs and at the end when you are about to die think about everything you hace done and see if you've live enough time.

you will never get satisfied by what your eyes comtenplate so did you really want to live forever is up to you .

New light what is it...cos I'm confused??

ok this is the biggest problem i have ...well one of...and that's the governing body's stance on "new light".

to me its like a dimmer light , whatever subject you have the light on, starting with the lowest setting you can make out the basics.

when the dial is turned up slowly to the brightest setting, you then have the whole, complete,picture...but you don't have a whole new subject matter in front of you.. so i can understand them starting with the basics then later on slowly revealing more and more as it is revealed to them...but i dont understand starting with one idea and completely changing that idea over and over again.. and if the light is not that bright on a subject, isnt it common sense to keep your big trap shut until your sure or the light is brighter, so you don't stumble millions of people in the process??.

new light is just a man made explanation to the flock when they seem to have come to a different realization of biblical theology and as the truth becomes brighter our eyes will shine on and off many times because we are constantly given new light so to speak which in reality is not new light is just somebody a human being who addresses a biblical passage differently than all the others many are climbing up there in brooklyn that is how they interpret it as new light. If you believe that the holy spirit is directing this sort of thing then we have to believe it as new light but in my experience some is taken out of literal context and they give us prophetic understanding as symbolic and so forth so sometimes you just listen to their understanding and become somehow not happy, as for me I don't pay more attention to new light I will serve God with my heart and not with new light getting brighter in front of me flashing like a thunder. We'll see that light which is jesus who live as a man on earth bring our souls to the real light. Don't feel confused deep in our hearts we'll see when the new light originates with God because we know satan can use anybody including the GB to test our integrity to our God and knowing is a real deal focus only in him through him we will gain our salvation to become free of slavery to sin.

if we are in this reality system of things living a life that would never come to us again ;like this is it we won't reverse our actions and so forth.. how can i know my own mind won't guide me to a hole in the matter of serving god and his org.. is me thinking i'm in the wrong path or is just the devil influencing me somehow.. what pill should i take.

they are my everything I thank God for letting me have one that is healthy and one I can enjoy so much I love her she is my heart my life she is a piece of me I feel that all I went through in life is worth at the end of the day, she makes my life worthwhile. I love you Rachel..

FIRST, THEY DON'T KNOW IT EXACTLY AS IF IT WAS GOD CALLING THEM, THEY BELIEVE IT AS A HEAVENLY CALLING MADE BY GOD BECAUSE THEY FULFILL WHAT WE FIND IN THE BIBLE SO TO SPEAK THEY THINK THEY FULFILL THE REQUIREMENTS STATED BY GOD SO IS THEIR OWN VIEW ACCORDING TO WHAT THEY KNOW HOWEVER THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS BEING CHOSEN BECAUSE YOU STAND ON TOP OF EVERYONE ELSE IS ONLY GOD WHO KNOWS WHO IS HIS SON AND WHO IS A LIAR, MANY OF THEM ARE LIARS I KNOW A FEW WHO SAY THEY ARE ANOINTED BUT WELL SEE AT THE END. you can do so of course try contacting him and try having a conversation one on one or something similar there a lot to talk about and tell them things you like about him like being there for you when you needed him and things like that. Also there is no point in an argument about religious beliefs until you guys have a stronger relationship then you would like to try to understand his feelings and he in turn yours. Once you feel he is not someone who will hurry and tell others about your situation start getting acquainted with his circumstances and see if you would help him.You can do more is up to how much you like him.

Regarding the message is an example of how the congregation is compared to this system of things the mother being the congregation well is just deceptive to some of us and the alligator being the God of this system can be visualize as an attempt to scare little kids cause we know what we will face if we turn our back on Jesus. For some brothers including me it touches deep in our hearts but once you know it has a completely different objective I don't think is right to treat the flock with scary arguments getting them to think there is only one choice and that been inside the congregation with their own views of things is just not right.

Try talking to him in person.

well armageddon has its on definition I constantly listen to talks about it and is just to some extent not real what they all say, they will tell you what will happen who will be killed who will be saved and who they think they are God no one how it will be like.

In one hand we have the battle of God almighty against political powers on earth we humans don't participate in it that is an invisible battle where the ruler of this world challenges God, and Michael the arcangel along with myriads of angels directs the battle and in his white horse he will become victorious and death,hunger, and sickness and all sin related to all of this will be things of the past. Short explanation look up for more.

The other explanation is that all people who are not JW's will die them along with their children even if they were just born when armageddon arrives they will be scattered throughout the fields that will be a bloodshed by God that sort of explanation needs more argument but continuing all who are sinners not belonging to JW's will die unless they repent and change to the religion. need more explanation

So we have different viewpoints to consider and I think there can more than one to discuss however the end is not yet here because the great tribulation hasn't ocurred yet and once is done there will be a time lapse between the GT and A so we still don't know how long will it take. Keep on watch so as to not fall asleep when that time arrives cause it will arrive like a thief at night and who can stand against such a battle.

Wait on Jehovah for the answers not on humans.

Highdose's pendulam problem...

an update on me: i seem to be swinging from one state to another recently.

some days i will feel very peacefull within myself about the borg and my experiances in it.

i will feel like i'm almost able to forgive all those cult members who made my life hell.. ... and then the pendulam swings and i find myself remembering something about them that makes me just so furious!

we all come to see the real facts at the end of the day, they make us feel like we are somebody they can play with and I also paid attention to them and it was driving me crazy everyday in my life but after so many deep thoughts I've realized they are just a bunch of hypocrites who don't care about me cause they don't know me inside they just think they the best spiritual directed guides on earth and they feel superior to us and they diminish our beings.

Knowing that there is no such thing as them being right about things happening to us many I now only focus in my life I don't pay attention to any of them as to really feel the struggles I went through during that time it was a relief that my eyes were open and now I can see things clear so don't let them have any thing have to do with you, life is beautiful and short know that God is out there he knows we are not responsible for any of this try to step up.

The only relationship we have to strive for is God's and jesus being our only hope for survival would lead us into the place we are committed to be not one any human talks about.

Isn't going to Law School a no-no?

i was reading some education-related threads on here and i'm curious about something.

i haven't been out too long, and while i was in, i was farsighted enough to get my college degree part-time at night.

i kind of knew i'd be out someday and would need it... anyway, since i've been out, i've been going to law school.

yes is a no-no to go to law school and if you go you are look down while you are still attending and you have to face comments regarding how spiritual you are and how close the system is in your life so if your friend is going to law school she either doesn't believe the principle of not going to school or she is in great need and had plans with that career in mind whatever the case is she is not a total JW.

There is a lot of people who go to the hall and don't do everything said by the FDS and that is fine I also believe nobody can force you do anything against your own will and there is people who go there and do many things to be considered an spiritual brother but they are far away from the truth they have two faces they are well-behaved at the hall but out of it they do what it pleases them most.

and there are some who are born inside the cong and come to know everything being said in the hall and we just believe everything comes from God and since God is telling us not to go to school we don't go and we never come to do many things in life and our life gets turned into a direction that we can't help us and nobody else financially so you trust the FDS and at the end you end up with nothing to offer but not all of us remain like that.

One example in my cong there are at least 10 brothers who went to school or work at school somehow well they always talk about how bad school is for young witnesses and they work there at an institution, that is ridiculous, also they have their needs well covered up and yes they don't help anybody in the cong so that is not right.

I don't believe nothing cause nobody ever asked me if I needed anything they just want me to show at the meetings go out on service and be a good example to younger ones and I now know that they are just all a bunch of hypocrites they have revealed secrets to me that are not good.

Well, simple if she is going she knows how you can handle this life and you as well so remember there is a double standard about education you can go and you can't go take your pick.
