its been a long time since i picked up a bible---but---wasnt there an example of artificial insemination in there---seem to recall the successful birth character being called--jesus?

Help!!!
by marriedtoajw ini have come here for any advice and support that anyone can give and i really need it now.
i don't talk about these issues with my siblings anymore because they have already told me that they have no advice and can't help.
feelings of anxiety have been overwhelming me the lat 2 years and it makes me feel like a scared little child.

speaking of my own experience. my born in wife divorced me 30+years ago. she successfully turned my kids against me. but--ive had all these years free of her--and that cult. now --our older son is D/F--is back in contact with me--she shuns him.
ive recently been invited to his ( 2nd ) wedding---i never got invited to the other kids weddings.
this cult aids and abets its brainwashed adherents to dispose of non-believing spouses---never mind the family wreckage that ensues.

Another rumor about changes in Watchtower and Awake
by wannaexit init's only a rumor.
but we all know that sometimes rumors become a reality.. supposedly the public watchtower and awake magazines will be combined together and the two shall become one.. i wonder if the present 16 page "rags" are becoming an embarrassment.
they truly are rags of the lowest quality..

How many people have tons of those mags lying around the house?
its been a nightmare. ive just finished clearing out my dub-dads house. he's gone into a care home.
watchtower rubbish everywhere. magazines stuffed neatly into empty cereal boxes. dozens of them-- a lifetimes collection.
stashed everywhere--bedroom wardrobes--under the beds--in kitchen cabinets--living room cabinets--i found them everywhere.
several trips to the council tip--in the cardboard skip (dumpster ?). hope fully these will be burned in a power-generater--rather than landfill.
good riddance. i feel so much better already

for my part--i just could not accept the idea of a god in this modern age--and this was over 40 years ago. it took a few more years to rid myself of "the truth"
ive been a happy --total--atheist--from then on in. if you can wash god out of your mind---you may find life a lot easier. others here are bound to disagree----which is entirely fine by me---its a free site---no-one gets disfellowshipped here.

my elderly JW dad--continued
by bigmac insome readers may recall a thread about my old dad coming to live with me.. after a short time he had to be hospitalised--and now he is in a care home.
ive taken over all his financial affairs--including selling his house.. ive been clearing out the house--and--needless to say--came across tons of wt books--years of old magazines--1000's of them--plus bound volumes going back to the year dot.
i asked him what he wanted me to do with them--and he said dispose of them!.

a friend on here said about ebay----i would hate to think the books might have got into the wrong hands--and resulted in a new j-dub in the ranks.
frankly--the sight of any wt publication makes me angry--bitter memories of lives ive known being ruined.

but--just the other day i came across a large cardboard box full of envelopes--all carefully written up and filed--congregation records--accounts--all sorts--going back years!!
these all ended up in the dump too----now--did i do the right thing?
i cant help feeling i wont be going to heaven

but--in recent years--became an EX JW---i really feel the love. joined this madhouse. might even donate a very little money if asked. even bought a car with XJW number plate--love it.
no need to believe in gahd--whoever she is. no barble in the house--just the internet.
