Were you 'alive in '75' and how was that year for you?
by punkofnice ini was a junior borgite in 1975. i remeber looking at the calendar at work in october and thinking: 'armageddon isn't here yet.....and it doesn't feel like it will be here anytime soon either!'.
i was surprised that jehovah hadn't obeyed the superior command to bring the big 'a' as instructed to him by fred franz.
how dare god disobey the jw leader!!!!!.

Disrupting literature carts
by perfect1 ini am ready for a little guerilla warfare (no one gets hurt, of course).
but these literature carts in the city need to go.
everytime i walk by its all i can do to keep from knocking the thing over.. any ideas on how to destroy their little stash of paper.. so far my best idea is water, pouring water all over it.
-
bigmac
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO leave them as they are-=-it means less doorknockers
ive seen one near my address--on a windswept deserted seafront--with 2 old guys freezing to death--only me took any notice.
so--who pays for any literature taken?

Literature carts are the cruisiest way to preach ever - photo attached
by jwfacts init was a perfect spring day, and a jazz band were playing in the mall near my work.
in front of the band, two watchtower literature carts stood in solidarity.
i could not work out who were the jws attending them.
-
bigmac
its passive witnessing.
site one of these carts in a town centre--its OK to assume sooner or later everyone in town will have seen it--and helped themselves if they want
multiply this by every town in a country.
ok--so by now everyone in that countyry has been witnessed to--and made their decision
OK god--over to you--bring it on

i must have missed this thread 2 years ago.
of course 75 was thoroughly promoted from the late 60's onwards. i had left the cult in 71. no way did i believe the 75 nonsense. in fact--my born -in wife and i started our second baby that summer---deliberately. our son--born april 76--is now 37--recently married--and long gone from the cult. he was d/f'd a few years back--which means his mother now shuns him.
its interesting how many posters on here--2 years ago--no longer do. i wonder what happened to them.
