Manhattan Project Arrives in London

last friday and saturday i saw the new manhattan project carts in a few places in london.. one, smack back in the middle of the street outside one of the busy central london train stations is asking for trouble!

situating it in the middle of the pavement!?!

Your views and ideas on forum areas and organization?

this may come as a shock to some people, but the current forum structure was kind of thrown together without much real thought and then evolved a bit over time.

there are a few things that particularly grate on me and areas where i don't think the subjects work particularly well.

'friends' is a bit vague and becomes a dumping ground, news & world events vs politics & current affairs is hard to decide sometimes, child abuse is a scandal but isn't contained withing 'scandals & coverups' etc.... with a new forum platform imminent, it's a good time to solicit ideas to improve things.

i think--the problem with this site--is its purpose--and identity.

is it a club for ex-j's to get together--chat--argue--compare recipes--tell bawdy jokes---?

or is it a first base for wavering dubs to dip their timid little toes into this apostate lake--?

these two purposes are poles apart---and need addressing.

Let's lighten things up a little

since many of us in the us are watching the clock before a holiday i thought i would resurrect a topic that has been dealt with in the forums in the past but not for a couple years.

pranks.. i spend a large amount of time thinking up pranks for revenge or just for the heck of it to amuse myself.

i will post the ones i remember to hopefully make everyone's day brighter.. first off, one of the concrete bases anchoring a fence in my back yard started crumbling and the fence post started to lean.
