  Conscious Class: Do you still go in field service?

  i know there are some of the "conscious class" on the board (i.e.

  yknot, miseryloveselders,elderelite,etc...) do you guys still go in the field ministry?

  and if so, what do you focus on?

  I havent been out in field circus in years brother dan but its pretty hard going out knowing what you what about the organization, society, etc.

  I hate the idea of handing out watchtowers and awakes

  Most of them end up on the bus seat anyways.

  What are the names of the current GB members? Do the R&F know the Names?

  i never knew who was controlling my life.

  i didn't know who they were, how they governed, what they personally believed etc.. granted the wtbts never put any of that out there but there are people who knew them and would of course relate "experiences" of meeting them and from that you could derive certain aspects of their personality.. i never thought to investigate the leadership until i started asking questions.. so how many are there now and what are their names?

  i would like to ask my family if they can name them by heart.

  Jookbeard, how are they the real power? I actually heard that the real people who are running the WT now are the WT's lawyers. The Governing Body is more of a figure head and/or visible representative of the rub-a-dubs if I'm not mistaken?

  Yeah, so basically by saying there an overlapping generation, they basically got caught in another fib (by saying that the gates of heaven closed in 1935) and they had to tell another fib to cover the previous one. So the gates of heaven opened back up again. So whenever the faithful and discreet slave says the gates open up, thats when you can go, BUT ONLY IF THEY SAID IT! Of course, in the watchtower.

  Gayle: Correct. John Barr was appointed in 1977, but he was apart of the governing body 1.0, and now he's apart of 2.0, which means his generation overlapped with 2.0.
