Black People Would Become White in the Paradise?

i have just been informed that the watchtower society lovingly stated that all black people would become, over time, white.

this would happen when the earth is to become a paradise.. please tell me that what i have heard are the mutterings of a fool and can't possibly be true!.

my wife is of mixed-race origin and i quite like her the way she is.

My parents are african american JW'S.

Most Jehovah's Witnesses today wouldnt even care about most of the things written in the old watchtowers. Buuuut, the bible was written over thousands of years ago, and they care about that. If you ever told a JW's out in the ministry that watchtower has a racist past, they would say this isnt true. If you happen to have a printout of an old watchtower, and tried to 'witness' to them about the watchtower's shady past, they'd either go into damage control by saying that this is considered to be 'old light' based on the bible, or, they'd tell you have a nice day, and just walk away.

Didnt Judge Rutherford have a connection with the KKK's black legions (basically the whole anti-catholic thing), and didnt he praise adolf hitler? And didnt he think the associated press was

satan? These guys were nutcases!

Oh wow I thought that Mac did support magic jack. I've never used skype. You can call people over the internet to a landline. I know my aunties have landlines, you can call landlines with skype?

Hey there:

My neighboor has one. SHE LOVES IT! You might want to go to their official website, or, you can watch testamonials on you-tube. I hear that long distance calls can be a little static-y, but other than that, ITS FREE CALLS. All you pay is just the $40 for the actually jack. Well, I think it might cost $20 a year but divide that by 12 months and you only pay a $1.60 a month, and thats why I'm planning on getting one. My LAST PHONE BILL WAS $77!!!!! Thats with long distances included and I'm paying waaaaaay too much for a house phone.

The best advice I could give you is go on youtube and look up: MAGIC JACK REVIEWS. I'm buying one based on reading and listening to reviews.

Madsweeney: EXCELLENT POINT about the bible. If I brought out that point to my parents, or my ex study, they say that the bible is important, but they seem to shy away about the history of JW's. If you asked a question, its very filtered and you only hear about the good side of it.

Okay, since my post didnt come out correct, I guess I'll have to do a reply

This is basically the answer that I get when I bring up the watchtower's shady past to both active and even non active DUBS in my family. They simply shrug it off, say that the brothers made mistakes, say that people are out to make the witnesses look bad, that its satan, etc. Do you guys think that the witnesses have been brainwashed so hard, that theres no possiblity of free thinking for them.

Why did the WTS stop having the rank and file pay for magazines? (1990)

we had our po visit this week, and he was telling us about how the rank and file had to stop paying for their magazine.

why and how did this come about (i was born in 1983) so by the time i could get to the literature counter, everything (at least i thought when i was kid) was free.. .

was more of an emphasis put on voluntary donating?.

OUTLAW: I try to tell my parents things without coming out and saying that the towers is all about money. And they say that people are just trying to make the witnesses look bad, that the past doesnt matter, the now is what matters the most.
