What Is It That Really Troubles the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses?
by orangefatcat inwell i think what worries them the most is that more and more witnesses are becoming free thinkers and that is troubling them, it worries them that thinking freely will cause them to seek answers elsewhere and that is the last thing the gb wants.
they have pulled the reins so tight now how much tighter can they pull before many witnesss crack under their yokes.
what is your thoughts on this matter.. .

I would say the internet is gonna be their downfall. Most people know about the whole 1975 fiasco now. They know the truth about Judge Rutherfraud and company.
Sadly, there are still many faithful dubs who ignore the internet (my parents being one). Its sad, but I hope that one day they will come around together, and leave the watchtower. Fake friendship, love bombing, ponzi scheme of a religion, etc.

Shirely W: Yes I am. I heard there father used to give long prayers during their family picnics and everybody used to be like STFU so we can eat!!! LOL. They actually make fun of JW's on an episode of my wife and kids.

The new DVD "Faith in Action" part 2
by slimboyfat ini just watched the new dvd.
i thought it was quite poor, even compared to the last one.
is this the last dvd in the series or is there another one to come?.

Yeah, I think the last name Franz is bad for the watchtower (thats why they didnt mention it), since theres two famous Franz that were known watchtower men. (although one Franz was an oracale and conformist and one was an individualist).

Empathizing with homosexual struggles as a hertosexual
by sabastious inwhen i was a bible fundamentalist jehovah's witness it was easy for me to dismiss homosexuality as a sin and move onto the next, more interesting, topic.
it is much more complicated than that for me at this point in my life.. i think about it this way:.
what if i, a heterosexual, were raised in a community where everybody was homosexual and heterosexuality had a harsh taboo attached to it.
