Wow...I wonder if JW's even pay attention to the numbers anymore...This prophecy used to scare me the most. I can't believe how much of a joke it is...and how I based my life off this BS. But it seriously used to scare me. I used to picture old people falling into a grave and then the world coming to an end. There gonna have to realise some more new light to justify the #'s going up.

Man, where do I begin? So many people that I knew did 'worldly' things when they were away from the hall, but then it was 'holier than thou' when then got to the hall. Giving comments, acting like goody too shoe Christians, when it reality...ya know. Now I will say not everybody there is like. What you see is what you get. But there are a lot of people in that organization is fooling other people, like the GB for example. I think those men are the fakest JW's are the planet.

while it is true that jehovahs witnesses are hated and opposed in all the nations of the earth, this is in fulfillment of what was foretold to be an identifying mark of genuine worshipers of the one living and true god.
Irrelevant for sure. Not important. An annoying religion with no say so in 'worldly' politics, social issues, etc. In their minds they are important, but the reality is...well, ya know.
my 86 year old mother stopped believing she was going into paradise earth without dying first, about 10 years ago.
my aunt used to think she was going to make it through the great tribulation.
even a week before she died, she clung on to this fairy tale.. do you think jws believe they will never die at all and will, in their lifetime, be on a paradise earth to live forever?.
Its sad. I'm 29, and there are still people in my age group that are depending on what the watchtower says to be true, because there very existance depends on what the watchtower publishes. Its really sad. Soon those 29 year olds will be 49 year olds, then 69 year olds (if they are still living by then). Giving up your heart and soul for an organization that cares nothing about you or your family.

Yeah you're gonna get a lot of facebook hate from Jah-NO-vah Witt-less-ness when you start, ya know, enjoying your life instead of being a willing victim in a so called legalistic paradise. I had the same thing happen to me a couple of years ago via facebook, and lot of witnesses have removed me, the mentally diseased apostate, from their friendslist, but oh well, there problem, not mine. Sorry for your experience, but excellent reply. JW's only see the world from there warped point of view. But of course, we apostates are the problem.

While the Governing Body has been running the show without the input of the other supposed anointed ones for some time now, this official change isolates them from any human (JW) accountability. While they previously claimed they did not keep track of the anointed nor did they seek their input, this totally isolates them with complete power over every single JW dedicated to God's Organization, they are answerable to no one. To question their authority, their decisions, is to question God.
So true! This pretty much sums up what Jehovah's Witneses (the rank and file) have been reduced to. And its so sad. Thank goodness I am out of that scam of a religion.

Why are they selling this hotel again? I was there in 2011 and it is a very beautiful hotel. I wanted to see one of the rooms. I know the obvious reason is for the money but is their another obvious reason?
i was looking up christmas music and remembered that last year when we went to a christmas mass (i am not catholic btw) that some of the hymns sounded eerily like jw songs.
