I ask this because of the circumstances behind why they get married and who they get married by. I know people say that they are really in love, they love Jehovah, etc, but are these marriages even legit. I've talked to older JW's sister who are now widowed, some of them say that they were trapped in a marriages.

I think that God is something that exist within people. I do not believe their is a God that controls the universe at all. I like to say that I'm a humanist, not an atheist. I'm not gonna lie I'm still learning everyday. I'm not a Christian at all. Thought I was one, but I started doing research, and that is not me. -

Goodwill stores: A gathering place for Jehovahs Witnesses.
by Joliette ini recently started working at a goodwill here in wisconsin, and i've never encountered more witnesses ever in my life.
every time i go to work, i see at least two or three people that i used to go to the kingdom hall with getting suits, dresses, etc.
some of them say hi, but some of them i just ignore, or they ignore me.

What does that even mean?
I consider myself to be a humanist, and I can't tell you guys HOW HAPPY I am being a humanist. I wish I had became one when I was a kid. I thought I believed in the spiritual world when I was a kid, but now that I'm older I'm starting to realize that the spiritual world doesn't exist. I wish I had realized this when I was younger, but it took me to experience things as an adult to realize that there isn't a spiritual world. Well, to me, there isn't one. If people believe in it, if it makes them more comfortable at night, then by all means, believe in a spiritual world, just don't force that on me!

I recently started working at a Goodwill here in Wisconsin, and I've never encountered more Witnesses ever in my life. I'm working this job but I dont think I plan on sticking around for long because I keep encountering so many witnesses. Or maybe I just need to move to a different area. -

The ignorance of the "sheep"...and will door to door work phaze out due to being "challenged" too much at the door?
by integ inhello friends.. i notice alot of talk about the future and what it would take to bring the whole thing down and no one seems to think it can or will happen any time soon.
just seeing people here talk about what will happen once 2034 comes and goes is very discouraging.. i'm amazed this religion continues to move along as it does.

I dont think that religion is coming to an end anytime soon. Their just in a stage of redefinement at this point. They may even change the name of the religion in the next decades or so.

Didnt Jesus kick satan out of the heavens 100 years ago for the watchtower yesterday?
