To new Christians on JWN
by brotherdan ini wanted to make a few comments to those of you that have recently begun to question or have already left the wt and made their way onto this site.
this site is a great resource to learn how others are coping with leaving the organization and moving on into a fulfilling life.. i wanted to write this post because i think reading something like this would've been helpful to me to understand where a lot of people that comment on this site are coming from.
you are going to hear from a wide range of people that have moved on to a diverse range of beliefs.

I commend your boldness brotherdan.
In JW homeland, a dissident JW is an Apostate. Whatever righteous or reasonable thing we say or do is subject to condemnation & judgment, as long as it opposes our false, ignorant and foolish master - Watchtower. And of course as long as you do not get re-programmed you will remain a rebel until there is liberation.
It is apparent that those whose hearts and minds left Watchtower's wicked control because of soo many systemic & organization issue - have lost or are loosing faith in the only True God.
Watchtower will have to answer Jesus for its spiritual, mental and emotional atrocities.
It is true we may have the same JW homeland but different strokes.
The bottomline is that there is mutual respect here in JWN. Whatever opinion you have as long as non-violent, not too offensive, and non-criminal is tolerated & welcome here.
This JWN website is a real contrast to Watchtower dominated website.

you will find them in various websites.
they are really cyber preaching for wt.. seek them out and neutralize their luring and hooking cult mind control efforts.

I got an idea from dealing with 3 feisty Watchtower (WT) apologist debators.
These WT apologetics have gone out of their way to defend their master, while WT keeps control of JW slaves and the Bible hostage. You will find them in various websites. They are really cyber preaching for WT.
Seek them out and neutralize their luring and hooking cult mind control efforts. You might be able to win them over if you focus on the real problem - Watchtower.
Also why not immunize your friends and family from these advancing proselytizers. Be calm and calculative. Keep your witnessing and testimonies appropriate to the audience to prevent back-firing. Be mindful of the "locals", since this is a "surgical strike" to help neutralize WT efforts you are not there to have any fight with the locals. Avoid the locals if they pick on you.

Alright I'll "declassify" one bit of reason for this Advisory to gain your trusts ... Brazen ...
Some of those who helped release information on the "brazen" topics, probably are ... insiders.
Elders on shepherding calls are increasing in activity for various reasons. This includes winning back the lost sheep that may include some Closet Apostates. Also, elders will try to identify and expel the "brazen" (bold) ones.
Some of these Closet Apostates may elect to leave sooner. In this case, they may choose to be vocal dissident JWs.
However those who wish to remain longer for various reasons, may be useful for insider tactics. This is the main purpose of "Advisory to Closet Apostate".
I apologize in advance for my topics that seem to bring some controversy.

Where is the evidence "that a few from JWN have been discovered and outed"?
- I DON'T IMPLY that they were outed because of JWN. I hope this is very clear.
- I decline to provide evidence because of confidentiality, it should have been evident on the posts.Outed by who exactly?
- By elders and zealous JWs who were spying around the target. Certainly, I DON'T IMPLY JWN was a factor.
Did the individual reveal so much personal information on JWN that it was possible to tell who they were? Besides, to be outed on this forum, wouldn't the JWs have to come out and say they themselves were trolling through the site?In all my years on this forum I have never heard of one poster being "caught" on line. On the other hand, I've heard of many on this forum who have chosen to advise their local congregation that they no longer want to associate with it.
- Please DON'T be too defensive. My first and second post on this topic never warned against using JWN. Maybe we just need to clarify that "that a few from JWN" was an ambigiuous statement, that I never meant to convey that JWN exposes the hiding JW dissidents. In the absence of actual evidence, your statement is speculative. - This is so much information that I could provide from analyses, without compromising anybody or stepping on more people's toes.
The caution to Closet Apostates must stay otherwise some more will be needlessly eliminated, okay?

Is "Closet Apostate" the appellation of a particular individual or is this a general exhortation?
For practical purposes ... a general exhortation.
Reason: there has been an increase of shepherding activity. Also, notice that a few from JWN have been discovered and outted.
If possible, it may help that you behave like the rest in your locality. Some may opt to gradually practice reverse-isolation (like reverse-shunning).

by Lozhasleft inteel's thread re his jc and his lawyer's advice has made me think....why dont all of us disfellowshipped ones sue the org for defamation of character????.
imagine if we could find a lawyer who'd be prepared to start a suit against them on behalf of us all?.
any thoughts?.

Perhaps this is a good reason why we have this discussion.
Although Watchtower won cases against its victims, we have lesson learned. And these experiences are shared so that we could avoid repeating the same mistakes.
One thing I've learned that we should avoid positions that Watchtower could twist into its disciplinary action (including the term disfellowshipping) and internal church policy issue, because court cases with such argument don't work for the victims.
Has anyone heard of class action lawsuit against Watchtower before?

I understand Broken Promises its hard to find one, just like it's hard to find a novelty item (like strawberry catsup) from most grocery stores.
Let me be a little presumptuous by quoting although I couldn't recall where this came from "seek and you shall find"; but not always true if we have time limit.

notverylikely I think class action lawsuits do not require direct violation of laws and regulations.
I was reflecting viewpoint of another group planning to launch a class action suit against Watchtower. Whether their plans would be successful or not shall be charged to experience.
I was associating the "win-win" scenario against Watchtower with invoking class action lawsuit.
