  some time ago like 12 bros were disfellowshipped from brooklyn, they were all in shipping or the printery and were later called the "dirty dozen".

  anyone know who/why they were disfellowshipped?

  what goes on in elder meetings, and elder meetings during assemblies?

  Youths and Young Adults Missing in my Congregation

  there were a handful of youths in my congregation.

  all were vibrant and zealous members.

  some conducted bible studies, some were dedicated and quite enthusiastic in the "truth".. .

  Caution about News and Leaders essential to Defeat Watchtower

  a. caution about news.

  don't take the leaked news as absolute truth.

  wait for it to happen then the news become real and valid.. beware that nothing prevents watchtower from becoming a spin master - saying or planning one thing then implementing something else ... to throw us off-track or distract us from essential matters.. watchtower could confuse us by leaking rumors and spinning plans.

  are there pretenders in our brotherhood- as in all religion- that do what is evil?.

  yes.. have we made stupid guesses about some of the prophecies, as all churches do?.

  yes.. does our "organization" make mistakes- as, you guessed it, all do?.

  hi, i've tried searching for some recent posts on rumours or otherwise of branch offices being closed but cannot easily find anything.

  does anyone readily have a list of the ones earmarked for closure?

  i did read about central america but also recently some european too.

  JW Informal Witnessing

  i noticed wts is encouraging the jws to engage in more informal witnessing.. since door-to-door preaching is either becoming too barren or too dangerous for the controlled minds of its members, watchtower seems to be exploring alternative preaching tactics.. jw cyber-witnessing seems to be discouraged by watchtower.

  many jws find the truth against watchtower in the internet.. it seems that watchtower is hoping that the old informal witnessing avenue becomes the next hit.. .

  what are your thoughts on this?

  ....how do you *not* sound like an apostate when you live in the same small town as the family who is shunning you??

  how frusterating and annoying.

  i hate when peope ask about my family (especially if they know any of them).
