yes i agree. as the world modernizes, they are having a hard time keeping they're members in line so they create more controlling rules. I think that eventually the whole org will collapse....i wonder what they'll say in 2040 when armageddon still has not arrived?

What makes the GB better than the average JW???
by shadowolf inat a past convention i went to a bethel meeting during the lunch break.
it was geared towards young people who wanted to dedicate themselves to bethel service...yuck.
anyway, as the boring program went on, an older brother spoke of how, if you went to bethel, you would be living with the gb.

Nation wide protest on the shunning policies of The Watchtower Organization!
by koolaid-man inon jan 21 and 22, 2011 a nation wide protest is being organized to alert people on the discrimination that is blatantly taking place in the watchtower organization.
the public needs to know about the disfellowshipping and subsequent shunning that is going on in the jehovah's witness cult.
this flagrantly heinous, wicked practice must be stopped.

i personally dont think protesting would do anything, as jws would think its persecution and being the sign that they are the only true religion....so protestion is more fuel to the fire

At a past convention i went to a bethel meeting during the lunch break. It was geared towards young people who wanted to dedicate themselves to bethel service...yuck. Anyway, as the boring program went on, an older brother spoke of how, if you went to Bethel, you would be living with the GB. He said "You will be able to speak with them, eat with them, ask them questions etc." He treated the matter as if they were celebrities, or Jesus or something. I immeadiatly thought this was crap. I mean, why on earth are they treated higher than the average JW? Why do JW's view them as having a heavenly hope, whiile everyone else is gonna be on earth? And why the f#ck do they influence the lives of 7 million people whos names they do not know or will never meet? Yes, this is such a bullsh*t religion! Ur telling me that Jesus is communicating with these old men in New York, and they in turn will tell me what to do with my life. No, f*ck that. Im not giving my youth to these old geezers, no way.

And tell people something i dont believ. and try not to throw up wen i listen to conversations others have while in field service. Ugh ive become bitter towards this religion. If only i was older...

scary statement made by elders' wife
by shadowolf inso a few months ago i went with my family to meet for field service (ugh i hate it!!!).
so while we were meeting for service, an elders' wife began to talk about the 'great' spiritual food the fds had gave us at the recent dc.
she went on to say regarding info that the fds gives out "we have to follow it,even if we dont understand it, even if we dont agree with it.
