  Older ones here, what do you remember being told about 1975 ???

  i was just a little kid when the 1975 thing came about, didn't pay much attention to it, after it was over, my parents told me it was just some people being over anxious, and being about 8 at the time i believed it, now when you research you find some amazing articles.

  what do you remember being told about 1975 as the year got closer ?

  I remember Nathan Knorr gave a talk in my congr. He pointed to the audience and ask "Who are among you haven't got baptism yet? Do you think you have more time ? Armaggedon will come very very soon...." bla bla..I should recall that I known the "truth" a couple of years, then (about three years before that day). So I got baptism that fall. Hehehe. "The Truth" never come true !!!!. I also remember Awake! had a picture of a train downturn to the bottom with the number 1975 there and caption had something likes "The world will ends up here" or something like that. Hic!

  I still remember Molly the donkey (?) very surprised because a little change day by day on the wall banner (she couldn't believe her eyes, but the banner say something similar to the thing she ever known then she doubts about her own memory. well-brainwashing tatctic). It makes me laugh when I compare with slightly changing doctrines in Watchtower magazines.

  jehovah's witnesses have been growing, but not a whole lot.

  a peak of 6,429,351 publishers reported preaching in 235 lands.

  Richard Rawe ,exjw Life story is off Broadway N.Y. Nov 20 /03

  richard rawe from soap lake .wa by way of background info.

  was df a number of years ago and has quite a story to tell that borders on the unbelieveable ,but true .

  richard has held bible conferences in soap lake for many years now, called and told me that a former jw ,a playright showed interest in his story while attending one of his conferences in soap lake.. the playright harold james called richard an invited him and his wife to the play as above ,exspenses paid plus a get together after the play .. richard also mentioned that barbara anderson along with 4 texas attorneys will also be in attendance at the play .although richard is diabetic and hard to understand because of a number of recent strokes he presses on and is in the process of arrangeing a conference in detroit city wa.on may /04 re a debate between greg stafford and dr. robert morey on the trinity and expects an attendance of about 1500 .. in conclusion hats off to richard the lionheart take care all don .

  never have i seen the society so unashamedly extend its hands in search of more money.

  my book study conductor was one of the more senior elders in his department.

  i used to remember that bethel always gave him (or at least loaned him for ministerial use) a real nice, tricked out, brand new lexus.

  If you really want to know what behind their foundation, you should consider the history of JWs. Start with a BUSINESSMAN name C.T. Russell. I highlighted Businessman for I doubt he more or less related to Masonry or at least trying to do so sometimes. He contacted with Second Adventist and borrowed beliefs of this group (second coming, the explanations of Daniel book, parousia, non-imortal souls, etc.. and a couple of beliefs from Christadelphians).All of those beliefs just timing-beliefs to recruit as much as members to the new group for the secret purpose of business (maybe, agian related to Masonic). Then The Governing Body nowadays did the same thin. They change doctrine through the time just to suit the needs of newcomers (they admitted when release the Knowledge-book, said nowadays people doesn't interest much in doctrines, for this reason they dumped PE-bookbecause this PE-book is too-religious with heavy in doctrines). They changes and we expose to the public that they actually flip-flop their doctrines and don't own any doctrine at all. Together with some scandals (U.N., Philip Morris, Silent Lambs, have shares in REGI bombs-making etc...). So now their behavior is "We don't care anymore, as long as we can get money form any sources). That's why recently we catch them with name re;late to many governments structures ("We don't care anymore even if you and public know . Money first now")> So Oil investment, mine investmnet and arms investment.etc.... As they admitted before, many "false religions" ususally have the respectful feature like the robbers in order to cheat public. They may well-trained in this aspect. They used same tactics, the doctrine or moral only an easy-to drop-off tuxedo, just used them as a good-cover to recruit the newcomers and ...money. That's all.

  i am currently beginning my mcse track and wondering if anyone else could recommend good training guides or braindump sites.. i currently have the sybex books which i have been told are pretty good.. any other recommendations?.
