well we did it, 45 people were present for the first candle light vigil for silentlambs around the world.
holly and heather berry were there along with many other victims who told stories, sung songs, and recited poems that were self composed to help them deal with abuse issues.
there were many touching moments where you could feel the heartbreak and pain suffered by the expressions made.
They told about the elders not showing up and when called George Bandarra said the meeting was confidential and private and due to all the attention they were not comfortalbe with having a meeting.
People who's usually living in the darkness (WACOtower and DARK Society) hates the light, especially candlelights. They do everything in the darkness. What a shame for honest elders in your congr., how long will they stand like that without hurt from their conscience ?

i want to thank you for giving the silent lambs a voice.. i doubt this will bring the wt to it's knees, but it will make the public aware of the wt policy on molestation, and maybe, just maybe, it will make them change that policy, and in doing so, will protect many other children from having to live through what so many others have in the past.. from the bottom of my heart........thank you.

i cried .
i cried for my sister ... raped by a temporary (auxillary) pioneeer, who was a close friend of my brother (now a bethel elder) .... she was only trying to come into the truth like her big brothers ... trying to attend meetings ... go in the field ... to study ... trying to only associate with jehovah s people , instead of those "evil worldly people....bad associations" .
i cried for my sister again .... along with my littlest brother ... because when the two of them stopped studying and coming to meetings ...and my brother and i .....we were too busy with our new "family" spending all our spare time going to meetings... studies... door to door ... assemblies ... and conventions...we were too busy doing god s work to notice or worry that our step father used the older siblings being away to take advantage of those two children .
