  New method of witnessing.

  i recently was at a bagel shop here in san jose,ca and while waiting i noticed something weird.at the back of the bagel shop was a little area that had one of those clear file holders,i was curious and went to investigate,to my surprise there were two issues of awake one in english and the other in an asian language.inside the awake was a copy of the watchtower.printed on the file holder was a message that basically said if you need any more information on starting that if you're interested in a bible study to call such and such number.i found this rather odd,the other curious thing is i haven't seen any witnesses in my neighborhood in almost 6 months.i guess they figured out that door to door work osn;t as effective.. craig

  Yes I saw it too. The Watchower and a brocure in a magazine rack, behind a Time mag. I may see another Awake! soon behind the Playboy or Penthouse !

  my husband and i have been the recipients of elder shepherding calls.

  they are bs.

  some elders came into our home one night requesting a meeting with us because they wanted to ask us questions about one of my brothers, who was an elder, but got deleted because he stood up for what was right and denounced the wrong things the elders were doing.

  Your prayers and thoughts for Randy!

  i realize that randy watters is not the type of person to want to worry others, especially when it come to his own health.

  and i also realize that randy might want to kick me in the backsides for posting this little message.

  thats ok, i'll even buy him a new set of boots to kick me with, but for right now if we could take a few moments to send our prayers, thoughts, and perhaps ecards for randy's swift recovery, then i know that randy would certainly appreciate it .dear friends of randy, due to some complications from a pain medication randy was using during an attack of his crohn's disease last week, he became seriously dehydrated and was hospitalized this past thursday, april 13th.

  Wow that UN scandal really DOES work wonders

  i'm totally amazed.

  i gave that un report to my (hardcore jw to the extreme max, but in a nice way) aunt, and she didn't speak of it for several days.

  when she said nothing, i knew i'd gotten somewhere.. today she finally spoke up.

  i have no interest in pontificating on this matter which to me seems so straightforward.

  however, since i continue to see newbies and others periodically post in error stating that the wts "owns" tobacco company stock i believe that this should be corrected and the matter put to rest, hopefully for good.. .

  The TRUST is not existed if there is no agreement between 2 sides : The "benificial owner" [in this case benificial owner is Watchtower Society] AND The "trustee" [in this case is H M Riley]. The WTS "trusted" (in term: "cestui que trust"] H.M.Riley in business, then agree to receive any benifits made from "trustee" H. M. Riley. If there is no agreement, then there is no Trust. Check any Economic or Law Trading Dictionary to know more about it.

  So, anyone can also use the trade mark name "Watchtower Bible and Tracts Society" to set up a Trust and claim tax redemption in that name even a brothel name "Circuit Brothers brothel" (for example) and have in documents as "donation for WTBTS" as HM Riley did with a scan pictures with Philip Morris tobacco name clearly on documents As following LINK.
  I doubt about it. Quotes only use the WT name on his website and nearly hast to go tocourt. Now Hm Riley use WTBTS name on their documents to claim tax redemption and The Watchtower magazine says nothing about it. Wash all the blood from your hand, Satan's offspring !!!

  Any PUBLICATION say that heavens doors were closed in 1935 ???

  this seems to be jw belief, and only because rutherford said so in a talk, are there any publications that actually say that heavens doors were closed in 1935 ???

  and any kind of references ???.

  with the annoited class (pre 1935) getting smaller and smaller, i think in about 50 years the watchtower will have 144,000 replacements, how will they rectify this goof ???.
