Isn't that what a guy is supposed to use his BRAIN for? (The one that's supposed to be in his head, not his pants!) I don't claim to be an expert on women or anything, but hey, women are people too. Somehow the humour in this escapes me...

Crazy Is Flirting a Sin? Q & A
by Iamallcool inchristianity -- christian living/is flirting a sinadvertisement.
expert: phillip senn - 10/10/2008.

I believe more in cause and effect than the sin thing.
I am kind of a flirt by nature but IRL I'm not very skilled at playing the game; it often explodes in my face so I'm a little bit gunshy. It's so much easier to flirt online. It also so happens that I am friendly and inquisitive myself and that has been mistaken for more dastardly intentions. It makes for a rough ride in life.
I belive that if a people are going to do it, great caution must be taken. All parties involved must know what game is being played or we get aforementioned hurt feelings and jealousy. I also think that people should refrain from it when they are in serious comitted relationships: flirting with others should be off the table, period.V665

@wasblind
It's really too bad that we don't see darthie HERE anymore but at least I can keep tabs on him on Facebook. I still don't understand why he can't log in. Maybe something like what happened to Mouthy maybe... ((((((wassie))))))
@flipper
I had my reasons for taking a break and I had my reasons for coming back. Even when I'm missing, I'm not gonna be totally gone...
@leavingwt
Hi yourself. I know you posted something on another thread about yours truly, so it wouldn't be right for me to ignore ya. It would be a bit of a snub...
@tec
I missed you too, Tammy girl! ((((((tec)))))) It was nice of you to PM me while I was away. You know that I was checking in.
@transhuman68
Funny that you're here on this thread but thanks anyway. I don't waste my money on that crap. I can't indulge myself on overpriced beer and boobs...

Umm...... thanks mamalove.
I do appreciate my friends (and fans(?)) here and I love you all. I'm grateful that people here have noticed my appearances and absences. Also, I have been peeking in from time to time. I needed a break and I had to do things. This place can get really nutty. (Like inmates running the assylum...)
I'm not an attention w***e, really. I'm simply not inclined to announce my comings and goings and there are many others here who do the same.
I'd like to give a shout out to some of my friends who also aren't here ATM: Darth plagueis, cognizant dissident and Hadit. I miss you guys.

England is poisoned for me
by highdose ini used to live in a part of england that was popular with tourists.
the kind of tourist who wanted to experiance the "real" rural england.
they would come to my town and thrill at the quaint old shops, delight in afternoon tea at the many little tea rooms.

...I learned that in a congregation of 60-70 people, even if most are unfair and unkind, you can still find one or two with whom you can develop some kind of frienship (I say some kind because you can't tell them everything on your mind), and if you don't find them in your congregation, you can find them in another congregation or in the world.
Besides, the world is not made of JWs only, they are maybe 1 or 2 percent of the population in each country. I think that you associate the pain of being treated badly by jw's with the entire region where you lived. You shouldn't, really, it's not worth it, they aren't worth it.Sorry tia.dalma but I think you're full of **it.
The problem you refuse to see here is that the organization is rotten, top to bottom. No congregation is exempt. All of them are dangerous snakepits to some degree. The way everything is set up in BOrgdom allows for NO true friends on the inside; there is no such thing as uncondtional love. To have the love and acceptance of a congregation, you have to kiss a lot of butt, twist yourself into a pretzel and become something akin to an unfeeling psychopath. Many (not all) of the people are just pure poison! You must live by countless rules and stipulations that are a risk to your mental (and physical) wellbeing. It's all being run by iron fisted psychopaths at the top and they are tightening the screws all the time.
To sum it all up, there are no true friends among the JW's; there are too many strings attached. I hope you figure it out for yourself eventually...
