it's been a while coming.. i have been lurking around here for 10 months or so.. reading just about everyday.

There's plenty of aussies here. (I'm just not one of them. tee hee) I can totally relate to your depression over not being good enough. Elders, by and large, are truly a bunch of stuck up, power hungry pricks. I'm glad that you and your wife made it out together. We've seen the drama played out many times when only one is wanting to leave and it destroys the marriage. We just saw a breakup happen this week. It's awful!
