I've never believed in god so have lost nothing by labelling myself an atheist. I don't think worshipping a magic man in the sky would do any good for my mental health if I am honest.

Being an Atheist Is Bad For Your Health
by Space Madness ini stopped believing in god in july 2013. in the first 3 months or so i felt liberated and relieved that i can live my life anyway i wanted without worrying about an invisible being watching my every move.
i also felt slightly superior that i was able to figure out that god isn't real while the majority of mankind continued to be fooled.
atfer the feelings of excitment statrted to wear off, i started to become more depressed and empty.

What are the best questions?

Thanks so much for all of these!!!
I think the problem I have is that I have no previous knowledge of the Bible, and the kids know this, so if I start quoting passages then they'll just think I've been Googling stuff. I'm wondering if I can ask her anything without exactly having to quote things from the Bible?

Mom says "You will die at Armageddon" - good replies?
by serendipity inmy mother retired from her full-time job recently and has started attending meetings again.
she also has plenty of time to think about her wayward children, including me.
one night, we were talking and she asked me, again, why i wasn't going to meetings.

Those Who Follow the Beast
by cameo-d ingiven the warnings that "those who follow the beast" go into destruction....why would anyone follow the beast unless they thought they had no choice, or unless there was some gain to be had personally?.
could it be because many are misled into believing the beast is their salvation in some way?.

It's so difficult to understand that people can be so gullible and controlled whilst parading it as "faith". Sorry to anyone who may still believe it, I don't mean to be condescending, it's just such a shame that they are sitting in the Kingdom Hall watching precious life pass them by whilst being basically conned by men.

Why are they always so sure? They are just clutching at straws and constantly making a laughing stock of themselves. Why don't they concentrate on the here and now and just accept that they they don't know when Armageddon is coming? (just for the record I don't believe there will be an Armageddon)
