ummm...'k ballistic...I'm sorry that you've encountered women who are bitchy. Ask anyone who knows me personally and they will tell you that I'm not even remotely that way. But...I AM very independent and I have tried so much to comprehend why women will go to traditional religions that put them in second class positions...one of my theories is that women are in a much more precarious position than men are or ever have been or ever will be...until you are the person walking down the street feeling totally alone and vulnerable, I guess you wouldn't understand. I'm just saying that women need or feel that they need a Protector, whereas men never (usually!) even have to think that way. It makes me wonder if that's one of the reasons why women seem to be more "religious" that men.
