a good estimate would be 2-3 billion dollars a year.

New here
by winnie12 inhey i'm new here, i've been reading up so much here and on other sites about tatt and it has really settled a nagging feeling of doubt within me.
truly i have been lied to and have been trapped in this cult.
i've been suffering with depression, anxiety, attempted suicide, hospitalization, anti depressants, loneliness all this while being in supposedly surrounded by "the happiest people" on earth.

JW CHILDREN GET PRESENTS ALL THROUGH THE YEAR. REALLY?????
by NAVYTOWN inis it really true that jw children get gifts 'all through the year', not just for christmas and birthdays like non- jw kids?
as stingy as most jws are, i find that very hard to believe.
plus the childhood magic of christmas and birthdays is totally absent in jw households.

A sore point with me.....sure I bought presents for the kids.
If you count those toys left over from xmas, on boxing day!!
Evidently ...the day after was OK to buy toys!
Ya the day after xmas, when all the excitement was over,
a complete let-down for little kids. Oh, and the wrapping
paper ... not so much!!! If they were wrapped ... made sure
the paper was not red or green ...see those are really baaadd
colours in the winter!
All through the year ...oh ya gee time goes sooo fast, oh was
that your birthday last week? Let's go to the store, you can pick
out something!
