ALL JW's to be at the meeting this week...

we asked this person if it could be aqbout the terminology change and they said that was already read last week...... we remember the last time they did this.
got everyone all excited thinking the big "a" was coming and all it was about, was the literature would now be donated instead of charging for it.. .

Parents getting older, almost always brings difficult times
for the 'kids'......but somehow when watchtower is involved
everthing is more difficult somehow!

Over 7yrs as a JW and I just found out I'm not supposed to buy Girl Scout Cookies?
by Maat13 ini'm still in the matrix(the truth), but 'morpheus' and his team are valiantly working on a way to get me out.
in the meantime, everyday i am discovering so much about being a jw i never knew, like don't buy girl scout cookies, that i keep asking myself "what have i got myself into".. maat.
really lame for a first post, but i figure i should start some where.

I remember reading that Rutherford was quoting Kipling when he
made the remark about women being a "bag of bones, and a hank
of hair"....He probably thought he was so cultured, quoting
Kipling like that.Somebody should have given Rutherford a severe tongue lashing, for
speaking so disrespectfully of women. It appears that no one
around Rutherford had the nerve to do so. (except for Salter, and
Moyle, both of which got the boot from Brooklyn)Well, I decided to look up the quote, first what "The Judge" said:

Please...I need your help

Have you had visits by jw's at your door? Tell her that you
have just been talking to the sisters then ...& they are sooo nice &
gave me a free .....bible/book/watchtower, so nice of them,
about my age too , mom! - That might just put you in a more
favorable place! You know how they think...

Wake up and smell the cult! please I'm begging you.
by sparrowdown inat times i yearn for those i love that are still "in" to just wake up and smell the cult.. i end up feeling sorry for them yet angry at them at the same time.. i know each person is on their own journey and its a process,.
but i just wish the process would hurry up already!.
when will this nightmare end.

i happen to see jws a lot while visiting my mom.
they don't go there with me, which works well for all concerned..
