  Aawwww I am so very sorry that your parents & friends would even think of shunning you! This organization is really very ugly in the way it treats its young people. They should be outlawed. They sucker our young ones into baptism before they are adults. WT tells parents to withhold a drivers licence to force them into baptism. WT knows what is likely to happen....but they don't care.

  I wish you all the best dear one and big hug to you. I am glad that your friend is sticking by you and send him best wishes too. Be strong both of you.

When I was a jw out knocking on doors, I remember having a very sick feeling one time when someone gave me a few hard facts that opened my eyes! ha ahah ...jws really do believe they know it all ...

  What Jehovah can't do...

  during the rc today i heard this(i am paraphrasing and translating):.

  "jehovah has created the physical universe for us.

  he is a spirit and he can't enjoy physical things so he created it for us alone.

  All these things make him sound like he is just make believe. Fancy that!

  Possibly we made god ? Attaching credentials he doesn't have or attributes that we would like to have. Personally I think just taking-off like Superman...and flying into the Walmart parking lot would be nice.....but instead we make up something smarter than us....calling him god, who could do that very thing!

  So WT just can't leave the whole god thing alone ......got show their ownership of him by constantly telling the rest world who & what he is, & how he feels.

  so after being deleted because of my comment on her instagram post by my sister-in-law i got a text from her stating she didn't want a debate on instagram and the scripture i posted would not apply to satan, they are worried about me, go see elders, return to jehovah, or else you won't get life, etc etc.... i'm ready to respond with the following reply:.

  Brilliant writing my friend. For sure if I had ever received such from my brother It would really have had positive impact. But that is just me.

  Don't be in too much of a hurry to hit that button though. Leave it for at least 3 days ..... and then see how YOU feel about it. Wishing you only the best.

  How do you feel about exJW's who resist our efforts to effect change?

  i've met a few.

  i'm not talking about the jw who, whether df'd or not, falls off the radar and just gets on with living a normal life - good luck to them and may there be many more!.

  i mean the former jehovah's witness who is now enjoying all the benefits of a cult free life thanks to the efforts of many bloggers, posters and activists, but is critical of the efforts of someone close them to free more jws.

  Those who are critical of all the efforts to expose wt seem a bit short sighted to me. Really these efforts have helped free so many. Even better, they serve as a warning to stay clear of all cults and learn to think for themselves!

  These words are make my blood run cold and are alarming but ring so true!

  "From Russell taking "in" his waif interest, to Rutherfords young lady "nutritionists" and his book Children, to today's Caleb and Sophia, there always seems to be an unhealthy WT hierarchy's interest in children.

  Making children sit through long meetings, with study articles that mention all sorts of sexual no-no's, and stories containing graphic violence and bloodshed, seems twisted and evil minded.

  Now this emphasis on cartoon videos, coercing children into giving up their ice-cream money--they're like the wicked cannibal in Hansel and Gretel, waiting to devour children for their own purposes. "

  Getting it out of my system, a VERY long introduction/outpouring..

  after a few months of lurking on this site, i've decided to take the plunge...i don't really care so much about introducing myself, but somehow there is some relief in the thought of getting my little story out there, just getting it out of my system.

  Hello & a huge welcome to you! Thank you for your story, you have probably noticed that all of our stories are quite similar. That's because we have been programmed & mind controlled by the same messages & activities. I just want to say to you sweety, plse take the pressure off youself. Try to relax about this life you were given. Start to enjoy yourself and stop looking to 7 very imperfect controlling men who call themselves the governing body. They are laughable!!!! They only have power because people are being fooled. Don't let that person be you!

  When you feel stronger expose this WT society to yourself. They are a dangerous cult and blood guilty.
