i rang my sister and told her that i no longer believe jws have the truth and the phone went silent, when i asked her to say something she just said if that was the case then she would have to hang up on me and then proceeded to indeed hang up..

Just one day at a time ..... we can get through that & enjoy all those minutes. You would be surprised I think, to know how many jw's secretly wish they could get out just like you have. Extreme emotions re today's watchtower
by Tornintwo ini was supposed to attend the meeting today, one of my once a month duties for the sake of my family and my fade.
i read the wt and i just can't stomach going.... what this wt does is again and again reiterate that only jws will survive the coming destruction and that they should be happy about this and raise ourselves erect...eg:.
we cannot expect that many people will suddenly convert to true christianity.

As if the written RULES are not enough ....all the innuendos, the persuasive nudges and the troubling conclusions that the j dubs come to, are so destructive & energy draining. I know of many who believe that they must give up their own privacy & make sacrifices to open their houses to all their friends & the not so friendly when the trouble starts. Many are troubled by worrying that "apostate" or worldly family members will try to harm them or even kill them when they have to preach that it is the end!!!! Every way we look at WT .....it is so very sick!

Oh geez thanks Oubliette ....it has been so long since I have garnered any positive comments ....I am actually giddy ().
Ok ...to be serious .....I am an older ex jw..... and I would have been soooo pissed if I thought for one second that no one was bothering to advise me that I was in a cult just because they figured I was passed it!!!

Lets get this straight .... everyone deserves the facts, deserves to be informed that they are being used. I am so very relieved and happy to get away from that CULT thinking & CULT activity that I could do a happy dance! Please please please tell the truth & let each one decide what they want to do. Yes I have paid a price, but Omg ...I wasted 50 years ........ now I am my own person ...strong, interested, loving all the beautiful things and people in this wonderful earth we have ended up on. The watchtower is not a 'Sunday school' class. It is a dangerous CULT!
Children are taught to be compliant & obedient ....and being raped & tortured by the very ones teaching them! Shunning is a killer practice .....thousands of suicides & premature death due to the extreme stress caused by loss of family. Thousands are sacrificed on wt's alter of "let them bleed out" doctrine. Do not replace any of that red liquid that could save them.
Oh silly me ...... maybe I shouldn't mention those hidden things ....don't want to rock the boat! Oh ya ...and all those old people .......don't tell them either .......NOT! All people (including the elderly) need facts not myths.

Fantastic article Defender ....thanks for posting it. At this point I am convinced that a concentrated effort ....ie setting a day when hundreds of thousands of 'awake' but still in jw's ........disassociate themselves & disfellowship the WT cult .....all on the same day. All news media in the world need to be advised of this action before that big day. We need huge coverage. Anyone capable of arranging this would save millions of people from losing their lives to watchtowers SHUNNING & BLOOD policies! -
