Kinda Sad Re: Cart "Witnessing"

not good enough for watchtower neighbor must fit in three catagories only according to yesterdays wt wow changed the words of the son of god.

As a jw what bothered me, were the self righteousness & time counting thoughts that occurred when helping a neighbor down the block or some poor woman who has fallen on the sidewalk.
Before I was mixed up in this cult, I wouldn't give it a second thought to help someone .......it just happened 'naturally'!

As Freddo said, the Co was a great guy, if he & his family were not I would not have been interested either.
This was before the body of elders thing happened about the mid 1970's. After that things really changed ..... position & money became the important thing. There were the unspoken levels of groups in the congregation. The "friends" started having only people on their A list as friends ......& maybe some B list people. This list got right to the bottom where only the bits & pieces & undesirables were placed ......their lives were hell!

Is there evidence for networks of abuse?
by slimboyfat ini tend to avoid the subject because it's too depressing, so i've probably missed lots of discussion about this issue.
but i read a comment on youtube yesterday that shocked me and made me wonder.
the person claimed that many years ago abusers in society generally identified jws as a safe haven for abusers and joined en masse order to exploit the situation.
