  been reading for about 2 and a half years, thought i would take the plunge and sign up.. my circumstances... i live in uk, serving as ms. i am fully awake.

  i can not leave due to family, so just treating the meetings as a bit of a social club.

  i would like to give out more details, but i think you all know the drill.. complete disillusionment and i suppose natural curiosity woke me up.. don't know what else to say right now, just hello, and i hope to get to know some of you guys better.

  The oddest thing, is that talking about their religion from door to door is mandatory ....and yet there is an unwritten rule that it must not be discussed amongst themselves. If you try it ... right away you get the "deer caught in the headlights" look!

  All It Takes Is ONE!

  ive been reading all these posts about bethelites and special pioneers being kicked out in the street and being forced to get a job to provide for themselves..

  and im trying to put myself in their situation and feel the emotions that must be going through their mind.

  what if my wife and i both dropped out of school to pioneer and got married at 18. and what if we were very faithful in listening to everything the organization says.

  Well John ...I am with you .....not your story I hope but this is a reality. (don't know about all those guns but..) Younger people may not realize it yet but after 50 there are so many losses. Parents friends siblings health. If children were born to you ........ all you have to do is question the gb, speak badly about the new lite, stop believing and have a "brazen" attitude and guess what ..............they take your children, their loyalty is now to 7 men in Brooklyn! Not you. So you become elderly ...they don't care. The society keeps hammering on all that crap with everything they write. If any are in this situation NEVER give up! Fight them - expose them!

  Are the GB very intelligent men with higher than average IQ? Or are they stupid men who were put in their position by sheer “LUCK”

  are the governing body of the wt wickedly smart with extremely high iq or are they leaders of the wt because they were at the right place at the right time.

  (in other words, pure luck )-think lottery.

  ive seen them talk in jwtv and you can never convince anyone in the whole world that these guys are in the same category as someone smart or cunning like jim simons who founded renaissance technologies or bill gates.

  Aahh what have all you lovelies been up to! ha ha The more I think about it ...the more I like it! I don't know about you, but I am tired of "playing nice" standing back & letting them perform their stupid shunning as though it was a perfectly normal activity! Hopefully we can work out most of the kinks and shake things up in a big way.

  We could have a running thread where ideas & conversation can be posted in the ONE place ....except that would not be very confidential!

  Maybe a private facebook? Call it EXjws Mad As Hell or.......?

  Let's see what can be done about this travesty that infringes on our Human Rights.

  I'm a coward.

  since the move, it has been so enjoyable to not have jw's breathing down our necks asking why we didn't make the meeting, or having to pretend to be "spiritual" in front of family all the time.. 90% of my week is virtually stress free.

  then, my mom calls or texts wanting to talk to her grandkids.

  every dang call, she asks about the new congregation, if we went to the meeting, etc.. why can't i tell her to fk off?

  Cappy.........she is not stupid .....she knows what she is doing. She knows all your buttons & when to push them! Deep down she still thinks of you as her 'little boy' that she can order around. She wants you to do as you are told! I am not kidding.

  Put on your BIG BOY PANTS now ........ actually this will help your Mother to grow-up!

  My True Identity

  i write under the screen name the governor.

  why i chose this screen name was i felt strongly at the time (and still do) that the charterer itself from the walking dead tv series that is called the governor had a lot of qualities shared with the governing body.

  both had narcissism blowing out of their ears, both oppressed individuals for their gain whether it was for power and profits and both the governing body and the governor were able to reel people into their trap by charming outsiders in and giving them big promises that could never be fulfilled.

  Now now you naughtie boys .... ....welcome Saxon, nice name! Glad you are out. There are so many young jw's who are totally confused by the constantly changing rules, full of fear & guilt! You could be a big help to them. I do not know you from those congregations but I do live in Canada. Best of 'luck' in your endeavours.

  Love all those older threads. 5 years ago when I woke-up I had no idea about this cult that I had obeyed for 50yrs! Glad to bump them for those who also have no idea of the impossible garbage made up by these men!
