CNN pundit caught masturbating during zoom meeting
by LoveUniHateExams iner, yeah, the op title says it all.. some jerk called jeffrey toobin was taking part in a zoom meeting and was apparently engaging in another website simultaneously.. all zoom members broke for lunch, and toobin started spanking the monkey, lol.. he'd 'muted' the zoom meeting and thought this applied to his image as well as the sound, lol.. what consenting adults do in private is totally their business and they have a right to privacy.
however, when they get it wrong like this idiot has, the rest of us can have a good old laugh at his stupidity.. enjoy!
xd.

"while jehovah’s witnesses have been the target of civil court cases before, this is the first time an entire congregation has ever been charged with a crime.".

"Portland has been ruled by Antifa/BLM for 5-6 years now (they arrange traffic, enforce their own laws with beatings), but it's not officially recognized by anyone. It sucks for the people that live there, but that's not the US Government's fault, it's a failure of local leadership and the people that choose to live there knowing what is going on."
You keep saying this. Prove it. I live in Oregon. I go to Portland often. I am not a Democrat. I have never seen or heard of this ("Portland has been ruled by Antifa/BLM for 5-6 years now (they arrange traffic, enforce their own laws with beatings")). Go back to Belgium. Have you even been in Portland in the last five or six years? I'm tired of know it all foreigners spouting about my country.

I live a few hours away from Portland, Oregon. I have many friends who live in or near Portland. I've spent a lot of time in Portland. When I fly in to Portland from International/Interstate travel I feel like I'm home.
When I read things that say things like, "Portland has been burning for 100 days" and that sort of thing, it concerns me because that is very close to home.
So far, (other than the media and places like this), I've had input from friends who live in the suburbs of Portland and people where I live who travel to Portland regularly. None of them have reported the mayhem and destruction that has been claimed on this site.
But hey, people who live in the 'burbs and people going to Portland to see their specialist doctor might not be going in to the raging depths of Antifaland. Plus, some of them are freaking lefties, so their take on things is suspect.
But, this weekend I hung out with a friend who lives about two blocks from the "trouble".
He's a Marine, a sniper in operation Desert Storm. Also, he has a fairly high level job in the federal government. Someone that Antifa/Blm guys would love to hate. He says, the trouble is limited to a few blocks, near him in Portland, and he has no trouble walking for exercise near his home.He says that most of the time there are only 50-100 people protesting and that it obviously flares up when the police declare (and he hears it all the time) "This is a riot zone", and the antifa/blm guys social media their buddies.
Anyway, when an anonymous Belgian who lives on the East coast of the USA says, "Portland has been ran (sic) by Antifa (they occasionally regulate traffic there, but generally form mobs to destroy local businesses for perceived injustices, shake down people on the streets for money etc) for about 5-6 years now." I call bullshit. I've been crawling the streets of Portland while my wife is at conferences or just for fun for the last five years or longer.
At this point, I don't care. Righty, lefty different pile... same shit.

Do You Think the Federalist System in the US Gives States too Much Power?
by RubaDub inas time goes on, i keep rethinking this whole thing about states' rights here in the us.
the more i think about it, i think less states' power may be a way to reduce some of the craziness going on.. as mentioned on another thread, you can't even drive now into some states without them checking your license tag where you are from so you have have to be quarantined.
states such as georgia are pretty much wide open.

Are You Afraid of Contracting The Covid Virus?
by minimus inthankfully my best friend who got this terrible malady is doing well after being in the hospital for more than two months!
i see some people who are still petrified over this virus.
they are still virtual prisoners in their own homes.

I was probably more careful at first, but I still make a point of hand washing and disinfecting. I wear a mask, since it's mandated here anyway.
As far as staying home, it's pretty easy for me. We live on the edge of the forest, deer and other animals are in our yard every day. I've got a nice workshop with lots of tools and a greenhouse. Our house is big enough that it's easy to have our own space. My Special Ladyfriend is a good looking blond, just that's enough to stay home for.
We have a big deck that wraps around the house, so we can have friends over and easily social distance. Even though we're home, we spend most of our time outside.
We're definitely not petrified about the disease, but in our case it's not a hardship to be safe. If I was living in and apartment in the middle of a city... that would be tough.
Glad your friend is doing well.
