after the hair cut the barber agreed it look up some of the stuff i told him.

well, i am glad my brother called and forwarned me this was comming...i got to come on here and get so much good advise from you people.
it actually started friday nite....my door bell was buzzing at 7pm, this time they parked their car so that they thought i couldn't see it but i climbed up my kitchen counter and could see the rear end of the car by peeking out that window.
it was the same elder as before.. an hour after that: must be mom couldn't stand it anymore & she called me crying.
I hope it works out for you CHG, however we are talking about the JW religion here. Sounds like you're in charge for the moment. I feel for your mum, she is so blind & totally under the cults control, lets hope she wont shun you if the Elders get their way and DF you.

Thanks for sharing your story. Shows how little JWs know about each other, however they are so quick to judge.
I don’t really feel that I have anything in common with jws. ... Other is to move away from family completely but I don’t really want to lose my family.
I hope you can somehow keep your family and be true to yourself. I have left cold turkey, no fading, just BANG out the door never to return. This religion made me sick to my stomach once I truly saw it as pure BS. Some family have started to shun me by just being colder and not calling anymore etc.. Others treat me 100% the same. Every person goes through different experiences.
Have you though of fading slowly from the meetings until people are use to idea that you are not there? Family might not shun you as you are not baptised...

I know, I watched some of it this morning on TV, some people are making real fools of themselves. Oprah is only human and yes she has helped lots of people with her program but there are a few that pretty much worship her.
Hey Siddy, did you see that woman from Melbourne that has spent $80,000 going to Chicago so many times to see her? She sold her home to pay for the constant trips to the USA. I saw her this morning at the Opera House waiting to see her Goddess and when she saw Oprah drive by and wave at her she lost the plot!!! (it was on the Today show CH9)
JWs have the dorky GB, this woman has Oprah to worship.... heh at least Oprah gives good advice and never forces you to worship her. Maybe she should take over from the GB ... lol
My friend won a ticket to see her, she's there now. She called last night and was upset that you can't take any cameras with you.
