This cult takes peoples lives and turns it into hours/meeting attendance/donation$, just a robot with a number, no love, no dignity. What a waste of human life.

I'm starting to develop a real hatred toward this religion
by man in black inthis past week i flew out of town to attend a seminar for work, then afterwards i drove 150 miles extra to go and visit my dad.. two years ago my mom died, and the lack of concern/caring from the so-called "friends" from two different states was a major reason why i walked away from the jw religion.. anyway, my dad is depressed and his local hall has him doing more fs, and attending the meetings,,, ok so that could be a good thing for him.. but i noticed that service and meeting attendance is the only thing that they are pushing on him.
nobody seems to check up on him, he just jumped at the chance to go out to eat with me.
and the negativity !!!

by I<3MYGod ini am new here, so i felt that i should share my experience, my thoughts, my feelings and my total and complete change of heart.. i have posted bits and pieces about me and what happened, here is the whole story.. i was born into the religion from 1 parent that was born into it as well and another that was brought in as a child, i did as i was instructed to do.
i was punished when i made my parents look bad at the kingdom hall, i was taken outside and spanked as a child for falling asleep at the forever long and drawn out boring meetings.
it really drove the nail home that i was insignificant when i would see and hear my father asleep and snoring after he had not 'spared the rod', who was going to take him outside and punish him?

Wow, what a roller coaster of Hell/Crap/Shit/Happiness!!! Being a JW should be illegal, bloody religion should be banned! Destroys people to the core, then some of us wake up and pull ourselves together and live happier outside of the Kingdumb Hell. Quite a few commit suicide, so sad. The others that are still 'in' are blind/slave/mind controlled robots.
So glad you found peace in the end . . .

@MrMonroe - I was at that convention at the Melbourne Tennis Centre. I saw the camera crew and thought that they were just doing a small piece for the news. Then I saw it on the 'Sunday' show on Ch9. I asked my JW friend if he saw it too, his response threw me off: "No! that was an apostate program, so I didn't watch it" I thought WTH! Apostate! Yeah right, apostate my a$$, they showed how some people were molested while attending our meetings. I was a believing JW at the time but didn't think of that as apostate...
This 'friend' is still a JW. People really do buy the crap the slaaaaave tells them. So sad.

Elders dragged me in the back to discuss me not pioneering anymore and I went for it and told them the honest truth. It felt so good to get that all off of my chest.

Conspiracy theory
by sabastious ini am a writer by nature so my imagination runs wild sometimes.
i always tend to fabricate scanarios that have a measure of feasibility.. check this one out:.
according to the new world order conspiracy theory the ideal population for the earth is only 500,000. some think that there have been groups of people throughout history that have attempted to or have furthered an agenda to "depopulate" the earth.. this got me to thinking, who would these 500,000 "new world starter set" people be?
