well i've just had another visit with a eldurrrr.

i haven't been sleeping well.

i finally get a good sleep going and a couple hours later my stepdad wakes me up to tell me i have a visitor.

the apostles were in favor of maintaining an organization, as they would have a stake in jesus establishing the kingdom then and there.

however, jesus/yeshua aimed for a different objective early on in his ministry.

true to form, religion was a stranglehold over gods people, and nary a difference today.

I am still failing to correlate your title of JW's facing truth to the dozens of paragraphs you are quoting and going on about. Can you please be more concise and relay to us all your point? I mean that with all sincerity, I find your posts really hard to follow, and being so long, I think I miss the relevance. Thanks so much! Agape back to you ;)

well i don't think me and my family could for even 1 day.

was thinking of moving from sky but when we found out about our data usage i was shocked.

we use over 80gb per month and we have unlimited package with sky.. we were advised another isp may restrict over a certain level so you best stay with us as we value your account... .

I could still function as a human being, but would not be happy and would be homeless. I think just about every job now a days relies on the internet in some way shape or form.

But, no, like you all, I am a junkie. I don't do games, but I SHOP, pay bills, communicate, research, and waste time and that makes me happy. If mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy! lol

Update: part 2, elder's counsel to mom to quit "bad association"

well because i knew the questions would be the same on saturday as they were friday i was even more prepared.

my mom has this pattern of repeating the same questions over and over again...she will leave it for a few hours & then she will cycle them over again, but then ask more detail.. so saturday she calls me before i leave for home and now she is backpedalling her story.

she tells me that the elder's never said that they were going to disfellowship me, they just were counseling her that she should no longer be associating with me because i am bad association and have been seen with "him" (again with the him) and that his car has been seen parked there all the time.

Good job! is your mom older? Do you think she is maybe secretly in her heart happy for you and just curious about your man? Surely she has to assume that you are not going to be a monk the rest of your life!

How do these people know his car?! Is he well known in town? Why would she have details about your boyfriend's life? I realize that it becomes a huge point of curiosity. I found out through the grapevine that my ex knew where my "friend" lived, and his car, etc. How, probably google, because he knew his profession. Even then I think he would have had more clues.

Hang in there, keep on the "I am your daughter and you know that I am only here to take care of you" path. ((HUGS))

in my introductory post i told about the jws that have been visiting me at my sil's request.

at first i spoke with them for her sake, then found i liked them anyway.

what i didn't like was the literature, especially the stuff trying to disprove evolution.

Kudos to them for not just scratching you off of their "return visit" slip. At lease they seem like they won't get all offended if you question and prove them wrong.

i don't want to get graphic with this and get this thread locked, so please don't go overboard with answers.. i was having a discussion with someone about the jw experience, and was wondering if, since "jehovah" is an important part of the religion, during the moments of intense passion in a relationship, would you yell out, "oh, jehovah!

oh, jehovah!".

seriously, would a witness do that?.

I think I may have screamed out "oh my F'ing god!!" My H at the time counseled me after. But he did like it when I talked dirty on the few occasions he would actually want to have sex.

Holiday field circus: From both sides of the door

here is what it is like to those on the inside of the door:.

the children got up about an hour earlier than normal.

obviously, they are anxious to start opening up the presents under the tree (and most children are not going to want to sleep in on christmas morning).

I refused to go out. I would tell my husband "please, can we just let the worldy people have their day??" Then we would end up getting together with friends for a nice brunch at their house.
