  i was on this board a lot when i faded and left 6 years ago but not been on much since.

  is there any thread/s in particular to read showing the changes in the past 5 years?

  or any kind willing person who has time to summarise them as a reply below??

  I was going to mention that gb 2.0 discovered via Jehovah's spirit that THEY ALONE are the f&ds but jgnat beat me to it!

  Also Guy Pierce of the gb died of a stroke.

  Time to move on, my last post on JWN....

  i have been posting into the forum since 2001(my previous avatar was "justhuman" and when forum changed to net, i couldn't retrieve my old avatar so i had to use a similar one and log in again).

  almost 15 years are gone.

  made some friends here, including mr flipper and one that i really miss dearly is oompa.

  i could see it well from 140 broadway, where the red cube sculpture is.

  Thanks for the links to the photos Barbara!

  In the essay they mention it was NOT the GB that wanted to move out of Brooklyn, it was Jehovah who wanted them to move!

  Oh, so Jehovah wanted to get the billion dollars by selling his buildings? I did not realize that Jehovah needed the money! lol!

  I remember when I started going door-to-door we'd meet people that would ask " Are you from Watchtower"?

  It is strange to think that there are people who do not know the wts is operated by witnesses.

  The situation Barbara mentioned about in Israel shows how corrupt and decietful the gb are who will lie all the time to get their way.

  Why get upset with the new WT donation system? It will still be a success...

  when the wt went from charging for literature to voluntary donations, they took a hit but still survived.. i frankly see them having a high success once this new donation system is in place.

  it will be a success and no dissenter or closet apostate will be able to stop it.

  because although we hate the wt and would love to see them disappear, we cannot forget the ones inside will gladly donate, donate, donate.. just look at other churches!

  I agree

  -they are thoroughly brainwashed beyond help. Any time anything new is announced they all rejoice over it. Even if tithing were introduced they'd consider it a blessing from Jehovah.

  Very interesting article Barbara, thank you.

  I just want to mention that the sign "Read God's Word The Holy Bible Daily" was on the 117 Adams Street building, Sands Street side and it was painted over along with the other signs on the Adams Street complex because the society sold it. The name JW.ORG was not painted on it.
