  I went to one of my previous halls remodel today and they did not recognize me...

  i definitely look like a worldly person by jw standards... however i went to my old hall because they are remodelling and they are in the final p[hase.

  it was not on purpose.

  i had bnusiness on the street and happened to drive past.

  Phizzy- many years ago my brother & I were going door to door and met a man asking us interesting questions and who wanted to share a scripture with us. But my brother said to him "You are an apostate!' and walked away. I left too but asked my brother why he refused to look at the scripture. He insited he will not talk to any apostates.

  So he was afraid as well. I thought we should have let the guy share the scripture with us after all we were going door to door looking for those interested in a Bible Study, weren't we?

  Witnesses are truly afraid of "apostates'.

  that is most likely the freakiest thing I have ever seen. I cannot imagine why anyone would do that to themselves, an extremly sick kid who needs much mental help. Gross and disgusting. I am glad I did not see him in person. I would never want to see something like that in person.

  your day is coming.. think anyone will bother to read your 'dick-and-jane' magazines on jw.org - much less contribute for them?.

  Since witnesses will be reading the w&g it will have a guarenteed readership.

  But it is possible that the wts will make one or both of them bi-monthly in time, even quarterly and use tracts on the non magazine months or just keep using the mags for several months.

  been lurking for years, but couldn't log on.

  for some reason, my email spam filter is inaccessable, and ended up having to open another account, simply to become a member... wonder how many others have had a similar problem.. its been an eye opener reading everyones life experiences, often so similar.. i was almost a born in, with a hardcore family.

  abusive stepfather who was one of the original jws in the area, so much so, that it was called the xxxxx family religion.... been out for 25 years, am glad every day for that!!.

  The Governing Body Is Getting Ready To Rob/Sell/Get Kingdom Halls And Show A Positive Corporation Cash Flow

  the governing body has everything in place so that they can start liquidating their properties owned through dummy incorporations with bylaws that give complete authority to the governing body.. i'm thinking be prepared to see many leave the organization when the shit finally hits the fan over these child molestation lawsuits hanging in the balance.

  truley a time of the end if you will for an outdated religion based soley on ignorance and gulibilty.. it(watchtower corp) is basically a printing business that prints it's own stuff which gradually dupes the reader into selling their product door to door in order to please god and not be killed by god for being so bad that you could sell this product door to door.

  only people who beleive what is written in the magazines will be saved was the motto and now it has been refined to; listen obey and be blessed by the corporation's deity jehovah over which they have exclusive claim being his earthly corporation and all and run by the governing body of self proclaimed holy men.. they are selling all their printing equipment and trying to raise cash from the proceeds which may be eaten away by these lawsuits so another alturnative is to start liquidating halls now gradually while proclaiming great increases and the need for more kingdom halls to be built while selling them in other parts of the country.

  Why do you say they are selling all their printing equipment? It seems that when they sell presses they replace them with faster ones, but yes this saves money. They run them on double shifts but they are not selling ALL of their printing equipment. They still print about 3 billion publications a year if you include memorial & convention invitations.

  Yes, they act like they own Jehovah. They created him and control him. If you do not obey the gb they will instruct Jehovah to destroy you at armageddon and he will, or they will disfellowship him!

  But they will survive, the wts will be around is some form long after we are all gone, unfortunatly.

  i was on this board a lot when i faded and left 6 years ago but not been on much since.

  is there any thread/s in particular to read showing the changes in the past 5 years?

  or any kind willing person who has time to summarise them as a reply below??

  I was going to mention that gb 2.0 discovered via Jehovah's spirit that THEY ALONE are the f&ds but jgnat beat me to it!

  Also Guy Pierce of the gb died of a stroke.

  i have been posting into the forum since 2001(my previous avatar was "justhuman" and when forum changed to net, i couldn't retrieve my old avatar so i had to use a similar one and log in again).

  almost 15 years are gone.

  made some friends here, including mr flipper and one that i really miss dearly is oompa.
