it really is pretty sad that the gb and their "fair-haired-boys" cannot get their stories straight even from one day to the next.. friday, while touting the greatness of jw.org the rc speaker bragged about the web site being translated into over 400 languages.
on saturday splane bragged about it being translated in 369 languages.
while that is close to 400 it surely isn't over 400.. then yesterday one of the speakers said, "the mormon church is investing on internet web site outreach.
The most recent figure for translation is about 700 languages. ( See the 2014 tour brochure for the US.)
They present such information in a confusing way because it seems most jws don't understand the figures themselves. There have been descrepensies in describing the sq footage of the Wallkill printery with the w, g, km and the tour brochure giving different figures for it.
They are misleading in what they say is the printing for the w because they don't include the printing of the study edition in it.
In 2012, according to an article on jw.org, they printed more than 1.3 billion magazines or 108 million per month. Yet the 46 million copies of the public w and the 45 million of g come to around 91 million monthly, leaving over 17 million for the study editions which they never mention.
For the web site they mention material is in over 300 langs and you can download pubs that appear in over 400 languages. They are unclear in how they express it.
They don't get there facts straight.
teresa graves was a beautiful, talented actress and singer.
she was deceived by wt false prophecies and worthless teachings.
she threw away a very promising career to become a jw.

Yes, her life story was published in a 1976 issue of Awake! (or 1977)
a relative called and said another relative called them and mentioned some book about the life of rutherford and russell.
is this correct?
i wouldn't be surprised if they were publishing more 'white washed' information to try to diffuse the facts people are learning when doing real research.
I actually like the new book
the number of white men on the governing body has often come up for discussion.
the negro member has been called the 'token black.
' no reflection on his race, but it just seems odd that with the great number of witnesses around the world, in such a variety of countries, that every member, but one, is white.. in your opinion, [with 8 as the target number].
I don't know that it would make much difference what race they were.
What would help would be persons who are sincere, empathetic, and kind, regardless of race.
i was wondering if anyone is aware of any recordings of the convention as of yet?
i know its relatively early, so i may just have to wait.
just curious if anyone had a copy yet.. thanks!.
bttt
letter read that the society will no longer be making hardcover books.
also the told people to not place orders for daily texts or calendars if they had the ability to download these.
who downloads a calendar?
sir82- don't forget the Organized to Do Jehovah's Will book from 2005-it is also hardcover (cardboard copy).
Hi 1975-ONU! Welcome!
I don't know if the wts is using renewable energy? Maybe they will in Warwick?

EndofMysteries- yes, I like the book. For me this is the most interesting book they have come out with since the Proclaimers book.
It is not a replacement for the Proclaimers book and in several paces refers the reader to that book.
It does not seem to be changing things around and even admited that they had wrong understandings and wrong ideas in the past that led to many being disappointed.
But of course it is not reporting on the "bad" things. It is strictly on the accomplishments of Jesus as king over the past 100 years in relationship to things pertaining to the organization.
It mentions the talk "Many Now Living Will Never Die".
I am up to chapter 10 and thus far do not see anything inacurate nor undue attention given to the gb- thus far .
And of course-the whole scope of the book is to show how Jesus is leading the org and how Jehovah is blessing them.
Realistically they will not come out with a publication that shows the "bad" side!
listen ... obey ... and be blessed!
has this become the official cult watchtower theme song?.
here is a video making the rounds on facebook.
Sunday had 58,787 in attendence at MET Life but perhaps the 140,000 was including those who were tied in from other locations for some portions of the talks?
I live in NJ too, about an hour south of the Meadowlands.
