  hi i’m getting disfellowshipped on thursday and was wondering what advice those that have left have for me.

  hi there i am not a jw but i am having bible study.

  i came to christianity a few months before and i was searching for the right path.

  one of the things god spoke to me about and directed me in was to do away with all the vanity that was in me and now i wear the head covering and the modest dresses.

  As suggested, please research Watchtower religion. There are plenty of other warm Christian groups where freedom exists to question and come and go as you please without threat of separating family members through shunning.

  it’s interesting how i have actually passed so many people who teach gods bible.

  today i met diane and alesha, in manchester on my lunch hour, we talked for a good while about a number of topics and i was interested to know more.. i have no idea if i will ever meet them again, i showed alesha something i wrote about 9 years ago.. perhaps i may share it again.. we be nice to talk to people, and perhaps meet up in manchester uk for a coffee.

  Welcome to the forum!

  I'm not sure if you realize that this is a forum consisting largely of disillusioned JWs and former JWs who have been treated often quite horribly by the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses which claims to be God's only spokesmen on earth today.

  I sense you hoping to make friends with people of faith and learn more about the God of the Bible in the process? Is this the case?

  I like the term borrowed rather than stole. I also believe Russell believed what he wrote and sought to please God in his affairs. Unfortunately it seems that his successor was not so principled.

  this was built in 1929 to house the newly resurrected “ancient worthies” such as abraham, david, and other old testament men of faith which were supposed to have been already resurrected in the year 1925.

  (note: it didn’t happen.).
