Can you tell me the names of the ones Jesus appointed in Brooklyn as his Faithful and Discrete Slave in 1919?
this statement was answered in a form of a question to a question posed by one of his followers;.
jesus realized that composite slave had to qualify for such an appointment when he came into power of his kingdom promised by jehovah god.
[and they came to life and ruled as kings with the christ+ for 1,000 years].

a month ago i sent a letter to the us branch about 607. my purpose for sending it was because i wanted to show to my parents through the letters the truth behind the date system.
two days ago, i received a response from them.
i think this is gonna be the first of many.
Glad you guys (Johnamos, Fink and LeeT) continued to reply to scholar unsupported views.

Right on LeeT
Faith in men who prove themselves wrong time and again.
Faith that is not in God and the Bible, but men and their word.
this is what jesus said.
matt 24-14.
14 and this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.. looking at this verse what is the central theme?
Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom. Paul preached the gospel of the kingdom. That kingdom was established in 33 AD with the in filling of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.
1914, Pastor Russell, Rutherford and company, Watchtower Society etc. has nothing to do with the kingdom. The kingdom that was and is established is the church of God which consists of every true believer in Christ Jesus.
Everything else is just counterfeit christianity.

Scholar
"produced outstanding scholarship with Bible Chronology..."
Are you saying that 1799, 1874, 1878, 1914, 1918, 1919, 1925, 1975, reflect outstanding scholarship?
"...but have also produced the finest and most accurate Bible translation -New World Translation ever made."
What non WTS affiliated scholars say that the NWT is the most accurate translation?
I suspect the only people who would say that are the ones that say Jesus appointed a small group of Bible Students in Brooklyn New York as his FDS in the spring of 1919.

'If everyone is thinking the same, then Who is doing the thinking?"
You must be talking about the rank and file .. who would lose both friends and family if they had an independent thought on this or any other official teaching of the organization.
The GB/FDS does all the thinking yet there is not a scholar among them...as their record on chronology shows.
No one studying the Bible, scholar or otherwise, would come up with what the WTS has concluded on this prophesy

Scholar
Ok, you admit you can't find one secular scholar that accepts 607 BCE as the date for Jerusalem's destruction.
How about one non-WT affiliated Bible scholar that accepts 607?
Right now you remind me of the mother who proudly views her son in a military parade and exclaims, "Look my son is the only one in step!"

Yes, and apparently scholar would have secular scholars base their conclusions on a specific interpretation of prophesy to arrive at a WTS approved date for the destruction of Jerusalem. Otherwise they are confused and using sloppy methodology.
Perhaps he would have all secular scholars also add 2520 prophetic years to 607 to prove when the second coming occurred.
