For those who are STILL believing Christians...
by BoogerMan inthe latest watchtower of august 2020 discusses on page 15, "how will the resurrection likely take place?".
since learning real truths as opposed to the org's version of truth, has your view of the resurrection changed significantly?
just one example - regardless of psalm 37:9,11,29: matthew 5:5 & revelation 21:3,4, do you now believe that our destination is heaven rather than earth?.

Jesus' own resurrection and word is the believer's assurance that there will be a resurrection of both the just (justified) and the unjust... to eternal life and judgment respectively.

Looking for suggestions, I'm being called on by a JW
by Tameria2001 injust before the pandemic affected my area, a couple of jws came to my door.
this was the first time i didn't tell them to hit the road but instead had a pleasant conversation with them.
i never revealed that i am a former jw, nor do i ever want the jws in my area to know that i was ever one.

There is always the transparency check
Are there any aspects of your religion that trouble you or perhaps make you uncomfortable...or is it all good?
1. Do you see your religion as being the only religion that God approves of?
2. Would you say that all other religions are essentially satanic or part of Satan's kingdom?
3. Do you believe that God is planning to destroy all other religions including the churches of Christendom and their supporters?
4. Do you believe, perhaps with rare exceptions, that only faithful Jehovah's Witnesses have a scriptural hope of surviving Armageddon?
5. Do you believe then that a Jehovah's Witness who willfully and unrepentingly accepts blood transfusions forfeits that hope of surviving Armageddon?
6. Would you say that Witnesses are free to question and even disagree with what comes down from your religion's headquarters? (without repercussion?)
7. Do you know of any honorable way for a Jehovah's Witness to leave your religion?
8. Do you believe that adult Jehovah's Witnesses, who either leave or are disfellowshipped from your religion, should be shunned?
9. If you somehow lost faith in your religion's primary leadership, would you lose your faith in God and the Bible?
10. Do you believe your religion has done its best to assure the safety of children from sexual molestation and abuse.
All of the above 10 "Yes/No" questions can be delved into further with sub-questions.

Hi Tameria,
I think the goal of Bible believing Christians encountering Jehovah's Witnesses is to BLESS them with both:
a. doubt in their organization and
b. the biblical gospel of salvation
Those without religious faith might seek to simply bless them with:
a. doubt in their organization
I think the best way to accomplish a. is to question your friends (i.e., ask them to substantiate) one or two of the unique beliefs and/or policies of their organization. One of my favorite topics would be their blood policies. The blood issue is a great one to start with since everyone knows about their refusal to accept whole blood and so you would not be giving your past association away. Cofty produced a great study on blood and there is much info on line that you can research.
http://www.ajwrb.org/watchtower-approved-blood-transfusions
Neither Acts 15, nor Leviticus 11 or 17 informs Christians
a. which components of blood are acceptable and which ones are not.
b. why plasma is unacceptable when all of its elements and fractions are on the WTS acceptable list.
c. why white blood cells are banned when 97 percent of the white cells are not found in the blood stream but in organ tissues that are permitted by the WTS to transplant.
d. that it is sinful to store whole blood for any reason except in small amounts in tubes for lab technicians to test
e. that it is morally right to use the fractions derived from the donated and stored blood of others and that without contributing anything to blood banks themselves?
f. that it is permitted to restore blood to the body after it has been cleaned..only if there is no interruption in it's flow back to the body.

DESIRE FOR TRUTH
I think many nominal Christians gradually become impressed by Witnesses' apparent biblical "knowledge " and ability to support their exclusive doctrines "logically". When these Studies finally conclude, "this must be the truth!" mental conversion has taken place.
