  My goodness! Fourteen years since I began posting here...

  i'm not sure if anyone remembers me since i do not post here much anymore.

  i sometimes pop in around christmas time to see if anyone is interested in exchanging christmas cards like we used to back when i first posted on this site.

  speaking of which, the holiday season will soon be upon us.. if you recall, i was married to a jehovah's witness and i had a daughter i spoke of a lot.

  Hi Gary,

  All is well here in Montreal Quebec except for the language politics. I've been retired now for 18 year and enjoying every moment by the grace of God. Life is good! Family is doing well; all my kids are working and no health issues to speak of. And so far I have two wonderful grandkids. And I'm working on a second book.

  Glad you are back and hope you plan to stay and encourage some of the theological discussion you are interested in.

  i also don't frequent this forum like i used to.. i have posted my story before, like 8 years ago.

  i have been a baptized witness for the last 30+ years, but have not attended meetings in the last 15 years.

  Your family probably does not want to know if you received blood. If they are informed, it is considered that you have disassociated from the religion and they would be required to shun you indefinitely or until you repented and were reinstated.

  Best say nothing.

  even though i'm disfellowshiped ( & i belive wrongfully so).

  i still belive this is the truth.

  i have been d'f for about 8 months now and working on reinstatement.

  • It's not rocket science. If there is one true religion, it can't possibly be the religion of Jehovah's Witnesses. Every one of the religion's unique beliefs are nowhere found in the Bible; they have a 100% failure rate in interpreting biblical prophecy; they have failed again and again to protect children from sexual abuse; their unloving shunning policies have contributed to the suicide of former members; their medical quackery has resulted in loss of health and even death of It's members.

    Besides all this, they are preaching a false gospel and a false Jesus all around the world and trying to take credit for it.

  so my mother passed on 20 aug 23 from the big c. i was there when she went.

  that was indeed very traumatic.

  i won't go to describe it.. dad went 17 years ago so there's just me now.
