Absolute sophistry my friend! Muslims, no matter what inclinations they may have, do not believe:
a. Jesus is the Son of God.
b. Jesus died on the cross for our sins
c. Jesus rose again from the dead for our justification.

That's just the word of men. Here is what Jesus says:
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. John 8:24
Jesus did not say you don't have to believe I am the Son of God, that I died for your sins and that I rose again for your justification as long as you have parallel salvific apparatus.

Would you agree if Second Vatican Council had declared that Jehovah's Witnesses “together with us adore the one, merciful God”?
In their favour at least, neither Muslims nor Jehovah's Witnesses would ever think to offer such words of praise or appeasement to Catholics.

Thank you for your lengthy response but it seems that the Catholics on the forum gave the impression that Muslims and their worship are acceptable to God.
"When the Second Vatican Council declared that Muslims “together with us adore the one, merciful God” (Lumen Gentium 16; Nostra Aetate 3) it was not capitulating to religious indifferentism, nor did it invent a new theology."
Does the Second Vatican Council make it clear to Muslims that there is no salvation period outside the Church and plainly state that monotheists who reject the Trinity and other Catholic dogma are dammed?

How critical is it to receive the sacraments, believe in the perpetual virginity of Mary, and believe in the Trinity to be saved?
