  A Burger and a Hook-up

  so i went to get a burger just now, and a couple of elders from my former congregation caught me off guard.

  they started giving me the we feel so sorry for you, you must be so lonely bit.

  i kept telling them im doing great and im not lonely but its like they couldnt hear me talking.

  "i can't wait to meet abraham" was the eager comment made by a young 7 year old witness girl.. when asked why, she said "because he was jehovahs friend, and he was even willing to kill his own son!".

  this comment was said with joy and excitement!

  she can't see the obvious issues with this?.

  if I would do that to my son today, what Abrahm did I would get arrested and they would take my son away, and he is some kind of bible hero..??

  good point sir82,,, has anyone done the calculation of 20-30 billion resurections divided in the 1000 years how many would be a day. logisticly it would be a nightmare.

  have seen as young as 14 getting DF.. the other day i was talking to a young one from the cong he got baptize at 8 he is know 13 and he tells me he regrets getting baptize.. am not sure of kids under 10 will do DF ofense but early teens were teens act like teens..

  One day assembly

  at a recent one day assembly i walked away with the thought that the wtbts sure does not like witnesses who have the opportunity to make a good living.

  there were, in one day, three experiences of witnesses who turned down "6 figure salaries" because there would be some traveling involved and some meetings would be missed as well as missing family worship night.

  i thought it strange that the exact phrase was used of "6 figure salary".

  many hear have partisipated in assembly and the C.O gos over all experiences.

  so the c.o probably told the participants to add more then it was.

  but i think they whant people to be poor that way you can look forward to play with the pandas

  memorial campaing experience

  so a friend from work had a get togather to watch ncaa basketball this pass weekend and i went on saturday morning as we wer watching the game some one rings the doorbell and my friend gos to the door he is there maybe a minute or so, he walks back into the room and screams outloud !!!

  "yes i got invited" and starts laughing as other see what he was talking about .

  someone sais " i hate those door knockers".
