Five years is better then zero. I do agree it should be a bigger punishment. Abuser get treated as such in jail he will have his fair share of a abuse. -

So I'm at work talking to a coworker about the holiday plans. Here comes a young girl walking towards our business building and ask me if she could leave something in the lobby. I couldn't really hear her as she was probably embarrassed. She pulls two magazines from her rain coat and ask me can I leave them here. I said sure she hands me two folde magazines and off she went, We continue our conversation. Poor young girl she look like middle school age her mom Was in the car waiting for her. It was weird that they came to our business, the magazines went straight to the recycling bin. What was odd that she did not do any introduction, and she came alone. -

Gilead was built to be Bethelite tribulation Bombshelter 1940!!!
by Witness 007 inrutherford believed the "great tribulation" would begin during world war 2. his book "enemies" explained america and britain would turn into a fascist/catholic state so...... watchtower 82 8/15 p.10 "for the saftey of the bethel family a place of refuge was built at south landsing new york.
it was never needed for that purpose...later transformed into gilead missionary school...".
watch.

Is hard to give the same old message. Most people just want to do the witness carts that way you can talk to your partner. -

"And Your Little Dog Too...." WTS not content with taking kids' ice cream money, now they want them to give up their puppy dogs too.
by sir82 indon't know if anyone else caught this subtle but malicious photo from the 12/13/15 wt study article.. not sure how to post pictures here, but the photo is on the website's copy of the article, just below paragraph 12:.
http://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/w20151015/give-us-more-faith/.
note the 3 pictures in sequence tell a "story":.

Great catch dint see that @sir82. The kid has the look on his eyes like how much he will miss the dog. Don't worry you will be happy preaching were the need is less greater. I have family who has move to Central America to serve or preach. In the two years they have been there, they have helped zero even become publishers. What's the point of being away in another country with no actual results? -

Elders who dislike other congregation elders
by RULES & REGULATIONS inmy congregation had four elders who had different personalities.you would see a little friction among themselves.. #1 self-righteous and the 800 pound gorilla.he would push everyone around in the congregation and even some fellow elders.. # 2 elder was around 80 years old and looked like he stuck around a little too long.it looked like he was around because he never decided to give up the position.his duty became very light as he aged.. # 3 elder was in his early 30's and newly elected.he made no waves and whatever was asked of him in the congregation he would do.easy to push around like a little puppy dog.. #4 elder (who everyone liked ) was easy to get along with and had a family who everyone loved.
he didn't like elder # 1. they had a power struggle amongst each other which everyone observed while the meetings were in session.. here are 2 small verbal fights that i observed while the congregation meetings were in session:.
while elder # 1 was giving a talk ( heavy rain storms are brewing outside with loud thunder and lightning ) the microphones and lights are knocked out.we lost all power and could barely see.

Elders, what wonderful provision from jah. When you become a cobe in a congregation is like getting your own macdonalds franchise. Secretary use to be a harder job computers and emails is made it easier. Service elder is most likely a pioneer. The service comitee is not really a comitee they just follow the instructions of the cobe. What are qualifications for a cobe 1. Fat 2. Short 3. Janitor or Construction trade. 4. Dictator the most important of them all a Company man!! All the elder bodies are the same working for the same purpose, nothing at all but a waste of a life. -

ARC: WT cf VAG
by Joe Grundy in(i never was a jw).. as a retired child abuse professional, i followed (and continue to do so - it's an ongoing process) the arc proceedngs closely.
my understanding is that the purpose of the arc is to establish what current practices exist in various organisations and institutions, how those practices compare with accepted best practice, and what organisations and institutions need to do to bring their procedures and policies into line with best practice.
(and to find a way to compensate victims for what's been done wrong).. wt is case study #29 in the arc process.
