  NC, You are the only one to express anything even remotely resembling outrage at racism at the OWS protests. Everyone else has done nothing to distance themselves from it. I know my comments earlier got under flipper and Bek's skin, but my point is that they expect outrage when wackos show up at TeaParty rallies, but don't express the same outrage when nut jobs show up at the OWS rally.

  Beks: I do not believe you to be racist. I laughed at your response. Very funny.

  I would just like to see you demonstrate the same amount of disgust with these loons as you did when nut jobs show up at tea party rallies. Do you acknowledge that tea party rallies have nut jobs that show up just like OWS rallies and they don't necessarily represent the sentiment of the movement?

  The response seems to be to point at the tea party. It's like saying, "Well, your racists are worse than our racists."

  But, why don't you give the same lattitude for whackos showing up at tea party rallies?

  It just irritates me that such a big deal was made of fringe people showing up at the tea party rallies, and the left tried to make it out like it was welcomed by the tea partiers (it wasn't).

  I know it isn't the norm for a lot of the OWS movement, but it is an element. Would you agree that the fringe wackos that showed up at the tea parties were no more indicative of the movement than the wackos showing up at the OWS?

  And, NC, you have posted nothing regarding this topic, all that has been posted was a cut and paste report. No one expressing their own feelings on the disgusting behavior going on.

  When were the annointed resurrected to heaven?

  i have heard that there has been some changes as to what the witnesses teach regarding the resurrection of annointed to spirit life.. what is the current teaching?

  is it still that an annointed is resurrected "in the twinkling of an eye" as i was always taught?

  i was also taught that this resurrection began in 1918. .

  The main point is that this movement is attempting to police it's own, even though it's much larger and less organized. The TPers made no such attempt, only excuses

  Beks, This is simply false. The tea partiers were vigilant in getting rid of the fringe wackos that showed up with their hateful rhetoric. You and Bizzy have yet to address the or show outrage at the racism showing up at the OWS rallies.

  I would love to see you left-wingers simply demonstrate the equal amount of outrage at the racism evident at the OWS rally as you did at the alleged anti semitism at Tea party rallies.

  I'm sorry, but I fail to see any equivalency whatsoever with OWS.

  Here's what you posted earlier:

  I viewed the clips you posted and I see a small handful of people taking advantage of the OWS movement to express anti-semitic views (and others expressing anti-Israel views, which are not the same thing). I don't see how that tiny sample can define a movement which, as yet, does not have a single, unifying, articulated message.

  My question to you, bizzy is simple. Why did you want Tea partiers to express outrage at someone's graphic and tasteless reference to the holocaust even though, as you said in the quote I've highlighted in yellow, that a tiny sample can't define a movement? By your own standards, I would expect you to express outrage at the anti-semitic rhetoric spewing from people in the OWS movement.

  And the fact that some observe Jewish holy days doesn't mean there isn't anti-semitism evident, does it? You've seen the proof of the racist rhetoric, and yet you give thumbs up to someone pointing out that some people observed Jewish traditions as if that proves your point? WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE FROM YOU CONCERNING THE ANTI JEW FORCES IN THE OWS MOVEMENT. Are you denying it exists, or are you just not going to address it, or are you not outraged because you agree with it?

  First, do you seriously believe that the Occupy movement is about protesting rich people and Jews?

  Bizzy,

  First, see my above post with clips regarding the anti-semitic viewpoints. I don't believe all of them are there protesting Jews, but there is an element who has been welcomed to the OWS movement who clearly are racist Jew haters.

  Second, yes, many of the protestors are protesting rich people, rich corporations, and banks. I'm not saying some of them don't have good points, I'm saying they don't have a clear message.

  Third, you didn't address my question posed to you in response to your assertion that the protests have been effective. How do you define effective?

  Bizzy: What have they been effective in doing? What have they accomplished? getting publicity? is that all? People are talking about them? There is more to being effective than getting attention. They have not articulated a consistent solution to all the grievances they want addressed. They aren't even consistent as to what grievances they have. I agree with some of what some of them are saying such as being against TARP and bailouts. If a company or a bank are too big to fail, they are too big. They deserve to fail. But they can't agree on what the problem is in the first place except that they think rich people are bad, and the Jews are part of the problem. There are simply too many voices saying too many different things. They have not been effective at getting a message out, and that is their objective. How would you define effective?
