It's the typical act I remember. Meet at 9:30 am, text and chat, out the door around 10:15. Do a Charlie call, coffee or errands at 11:00. Home at noon.

and i enjoy a martini i invented---mandarin vodka with a slight bit, usually about a capful of chambord served in an ice cold martini glass.. this saturday i'm mixing with my gf's friends and family in conn. with some affluent people and i might want to try something different.
Mr Freeze: I went to Pittsburgh a few years ago, and had never had a yuengling before.....I LOVE IT!!....When my friend (Who if from Tionesta) goes back home, I alway give him a twenty to bring me back a case.....I hope they bring it to Indiana soon.

Jim Beam. Straight up.
There is a brewery in Indianapolis called "Oaken Barrel Brewing Company" they have a great "Alabaster Ale" It has become my favorite beer, but usually I stick with Beam and Miller High Life.
your thoughts on the real reasons behind the stigma of beards..........................
This is one thing I NEVER understood. I could understand a brother having an unkempt, poorly groomed beard being counseled about it, and perhaps not being allowed to speak in front of the congregation from the platform. But Even Russell had a beard, but although I saw a number of pictures of him, as well as the commandment from Jehovah to the Hebrews that they must keep their beard, I never heard the beard issue addressed.
The WTS always talks about using the Hebrew scriptures to see Jehovah's view on matters, and get principles as to what Jehovah views as acceptable, they never touch on the beard issue.
Do they really think that a brother with a properly groomed beard is somehow displeasing to God when God himself COMMANDED his followers to have one???!!! It makes no sense, and I'll bet they would be hard pressed to come up with an answer for it if they were asked.
forgive me if this comes off as harsh,.
i've read & read many posts here mostly very negative.
alot of you have family that have shunned & continue to shun.
You posted in the wrong area- there is a "Jokes and Humor" section where you can put this, maybe one of the mods can move it for you.
LOL @ LostGeneration
if you're a dunderhead on neo-babylonian history (like me) you've probably remained totally clueless whenever the subject of the chronology leading to back 607 b.c.
since i had nothing better to do today, i decided to finally take the time it takes to understand why dub chronology on that date is wrong.
this piece of information alone should give you a clue about how bored i am!.
Farkel,
Excellent review. Pretty much sums up most of the questions I had........BTT
there's so many good choices, i can barely pick!.
dart?.
shasta cola?.
Did any of you ever get a good beer or liquor buzz on at the pool at the hotel after the sessions? I used to with some witness friends of mine. Fun times.
people usually start relationships with the posibility of lasting,,,,, my question is, if a person would die/travel/ get too sick, in a short period , lets say 1 or 2 years, would you still date him/her?.
Until I met my wife, ALL of my relationships had an expiration date. I would have had it no other way. Usually I'd break up just before Xmas so I wouldn't have to buy them anything. Date someone else from Xmas to just before valentines day. Date someone else from just after valentine's day until their birthday or the next Xmas whichever came first. I was quite an operator. LOL those were the days.........

Ms Jones, YOU HAD CHOCOLATE MALTS????!!!!?? I don't remember chocolate malts.
I always liked the frozen OJ, cheese danishes and shasta lemon-lime.........
Does anyone remember the burritos? I loved those too.......a white cooler full of hot burritos, I loved the sight of that.
We used to have breakfast at our CA's in Indianapolis. One of the menu items was "Muff-n-egg" I think it was 5 tickets. I was young, but I remember thinking "What are they doing having THAT on a sign?" I guess I had a dirty mind even in my pre-puberty years. lol
i am not an expert on this issue.
i have read and re-read information about it, but i guess i am somewhat dense when it comes to this topic.. my question is simple: the watchtower suggests that they believe the bible is the unerring word or god.
that it must be believed above anything else.
Alfred, No need to apologize.....I wasn't insulted. I have just had trouble muddling through all the information to get to what I am really interested in.
SAB- are you saying that the WT is correct to say that the archaeology doesn't coincide with the scriptures?
I have never heard of the 70 years being symbolic before.....Interesting.
