i was just watching nightline (i think it was) with diane sawyer.
the stars from ocean's twelve were on there.
i am not a person who normally gives too much praise to celebs or athletes but these guys/gals (brad pitt, catherine zeta-jones, andy garcia, george clooney, matt damon and don cheadle) were pretty brilliant.
What makes them excel?
because they know what the hell they're doing! not actors/actresses like the ones in the movies geared directly towards teenagers who'll probably be typecast for the rest of their careers, who'll probly do b-movies when they start getting old or something.

it seems that the writers of the scarey vision of the apocalypse that the left behind series creates aren't happy about alternative views of what the book of revelation means.
tyndale house, which publishes the left behind books, are publishing a new series of fiction based on revelation, this time giving the preterist view an airing.
preterism assumes that most of the events of revelation happened in the first century.
I'm thinking of displaying a banner, readable from the church, on the back of my home:AFTER THE RAPTURE, PARTY AT MY HOUSE!

as many of you may recall, earlier this year i tried to join the navy.
they poked, prodded, and measured me around the waist.
At least your recruiter didn't make you chug the lemon-flavored soda-typed laxatives like mine did. But I was joining the army. The Navy has more lax weight standards (with all due respect).
