  Is the word "bulletin" negative?

  at last nights meeting my dad gave the announcements and he said bulletin board.

  after the meeting an elder came up to him to tell him that bulletin is a negative word and to say information board next time.

  whats up with that?

  go for it!! the Navy thing that is!! i joined the Army to get away from home and i don't regret it at all! ...well maybe some of the things I did whist in the military, but not joining the military itself.

  i am a jiu jitsu student and have been for a 4 years.

  it's more of a sport.

  This happened to a small group of Christian youths who decided to go for a hike. They veered off the trail and began climbing a narrow edge on a steep cliff. Before long they found themselves virtually trapped, unable to go safely either forward or backward. The youth leading the group then heard a sudden noise. Two of his companions had fallen to their death. How tragic!

  ugh....leave it to the Witlesses to throw a little story in there to make you swear off it for good. like the story in the bible about birthdays that my grandma used repeatedly whenever i was bummed about not getting to celebrate (the one where Herod's wife had the head of John the Baptist cut off for her birthday).

  Sometimes I hope to get a laugh...sometimes it doesn't work. But it gives me a chance to vent, or to burst with pride about something, or whatever. Something we never got to do in "the troof".
