I forgot to mention that I got a standing ovation from those guys that I was with that night (I made a funny!). God, they must have talked about it for a week. This could be one of those times that I was actually proud of myself.

I peed standing up once. When I was really wasted and walking home with a group of guys from one of the Enlisted ranks clubs on Ft Benning. I really tried to wait, but I couldn't hold it any longer. I didn't want to get caught by any of my MP buddies peein' on the side of the road in public, so I went to a tree. I thought it might be fun to pee standing up instead of squatting with my ass against the tree, so I lifted up my skirt, adjusted my thong, took my pee pee hole and aimed for it. I did a pretty nice job, despite the fact that I was so drunk that I was close to puking everything that I ate for the entire day.
TMI. I know. Sorry guys, the story had to be told, though.

They in a mine field or something? The one pic of the warning sign cracks me up.
They might be...most of the Transmountain area used to be an artillery range for Fort Bliss. Although units no longer practice firing there, there are quite a few UXO's (Unexploded Ordinances) scattered throughout the area. But people still go in the area to see all the poppies (and whatever the hell else there is over there) up close. laters kaykay_mp

Yes, finally, my peeps. After promising you guys for a month that I would take some pictures of the rare Mexican Poppy. These babies are annual bloomers, only staying for about a month or two. They did bloom pretty early since the weather has been really nice lately. They usually bloom by the end of March, but this year they started in late February.
Every time I find a reason to leave El Paso, it always enchants me with a reason to stay.

I am proud to announce that my 2-year-old Jean-Philippe can sing the theme to "Spongebob Squarepants" and a couple of days ago showed me that he knows how to breakdance. He is also almost ready to potty train because he is starting to take his own diapers off and put them in the trash. He knows some of his numbers and letters too (since he was 1 1/2).
Cute. Friggin' cute I tells ye. But the cutest thing is when he tells me "I love you" when I tuck him in for the night.
