Paragraph 2:
I thought that Elders were appointed by Holy spirit?
Paragraph 7:
Is it still "the three year rule" with the exception of child abuse?
Paragraph 13:
The first question to be asked of one being appointed is a contradiction of other sections of the book. Pre baptism sins are not to be concidered? BTW, a phrase often used for appointment is being "made up". Isn't that a Mafia saying?
Situations that may raise questions
Paragraph 20:
Child abuse - this would likely disqualify one from serving for many years!!!! I think that I read somewhere that said that one would never serve as an appointed man, I will have to dig for it.
Paragraph 25:
Digging for reasons for one standing down. Mind your own business!
