Change of 144000 doctrine?

a friend of mine just got given a recording of the last ca which was held here a couple of weeks ago and she said there's been a change to the 144k teaching.

she didn't understand what the hell they were rabbiting on about.

she's really waking up as a result of all these changes, and so are some others she knows.. anyone know of any change to the 144k doctrine?

I agree Prologos. They are not even sincere with their new light. It becomes so confusing that it has to be deliberate.

Hello and my exit story from WTS

i thought it was fitting for me to share my freedom from the witnesses story on independence day weekend.. i dont have any secret info, just experiences that happened to me and started to open my eyes.. i was a third generation, raised in the truth kid who was never supposed to be born, and then never supposed to graduate high school.

ive now been out of high school longer than i was in school.. the beginning of the end started a little less than a decade ago.

i was late 20s at the time.

They used to think that the Great tribulation had begun in 1914.

Watchtower Paragraph 8:

[2] One of the events mentioned in these verses is the ‘gathering of the chosen ones.’ (Matt. 24:31) Hence, it appears that all anointed ones who still remain on earth after the initial part of the great tribulation has passed will at some point be raised to heaven before the outbreak of the battle of Armageddon. This adjusts what was stated on this subject in “Questions From Readers” in The Watchtower of August 15, 1990, page 30.

Yet Another secretly recorded Judicial Meeting for you...

yet another secretly recorded judicial committee hearing...the hero of this story is rachel... this brave and funny kiwi lady stands up to the local elders and goes through this scary situation with grace and logic and so much class!.

bravo to her husband who comes along to support her and her goal is to awaken and perhaps reach the hearts of these men that are poised to spiritually execute her.

this goes right against the false label applied to so-called apostates by the wt society that they are insincere, slanderous people out to hurt the faith of others.. listen to the story unfold as rachel boldly shares her research and her conscience with these men.

The conversation with the elder after the JC was the most interesting and I've tried to transcribe it (but it's not accurate) -

After discussing the idea that the judgement of people will occur at Armageddon in such difficult times, whereas it is a different situation for people who have already died, this was stated

Rachel “It doesn’t make sense that Jehovah would do it like that”

Elder “Well that’s what we hope for ..a judgement different like that”

Rachel “And I know you don’t believe that either”

Elder “Well I really look for Jehovah’s judgement, the way he’s done it in the past, hope for that, but I mean I can’t teach that simply because it is not what the Faithful Slave are saying and their, ar.. decision if you like, is perharps with the idea that we’re conscious of giving the wrong direction and if they were wrong with something like that it would have a devastating affect”

Rachel “It’s a real burden on us though, for me..”

Elder “Well no, no it’s

Rachel “It’s the carry around on you, with this belief”

Elder “Hatred for people, that sort of thing, or

Rachel “No a feeling that like I tried to tell you in my letter that it’s been very difficult for me to even enjoy life without feeling guilty about enjoying life and I’ve been a non participant in life and a non participant in my marriage because how dare I enjoy these things while all these people here need to come and be baptized as witnesses otherwise they would be chopped

Elder "But realize that the influence of the angels is there directly that they are there to help us and back us up , if we ? someone, ultimately"

Rachel “all us account on that but when I do the maths you know why in our country are so few coming in within the developing world they are flocking in, is it because we are more inherintley wicked here, is it because of our higher standard in education or it might be that people have more information that they know all this science is coming in on their minds and there is more barriers “

That would have been interesting Julia and I believe the country is nice to visit. That's not the guy that you descibe, but would be hard to pick with so many Aussies there, even though he loves to be the centre of attention (he's in his early 50s, dark hair/greying and balding and more on the roundish side).

I can understand why you would have thought about special pioneering there. We've been travelling to a few Asian countries and the people are so happy and friendlty

Julia, what were you doing in Myanmar? I know an elder who is special pioneering there with his wife, he may have presented some of the talks at that assembly you attended.

New Trend in Dramas?

so it used to be that all dramas were ot.

period, that was it.. then they started incorporating a "modern day" application of the ot drama where actors in the present day reflected on the story.. then they started using some highly fictionalized nt characters in dramas (never jesus of course).

in the past few years we've been getting more "modern dramas", just about people in the present dealing with their "problems".

It was strange hearing them discuss the legendary beauty of Karenhappuch (Job's daughter) at the end of the video and she mentioned that she pointed out her other sisters who were beautiful. She also pointed out her brothers. In the past they have taught that those resurrected would be neither female or male. So much for even basing their drama's on their teachings but that even a person's beauty would be noted in the new system.
