Morning Woship: Kenneth Flodin targets "apostates"
by Sanchy invideo is entitled "beware of deceit" he uses the letter of jude to show that current day apostates are deceitful and that they use "trickery" to and "twist facts" to try to "grab our mind".
warning: your head might explode.
especially past the 5:30 mark.

Another insincere comment made by Flodin was his attempt to have his audience believe that it was 'a sincere older lady' who had been deceived by an apostate. He basis his assumption on the 'scrawl' the letter was written in.
All these assumptions were baseless. The idea that the person was sincere, that they were female and that they were old.
You would think that he has seen Geoffrey Jacksons handwriting which looks very feminine and the writing of a much younger person.
It's easy to conclude that he has said this to play on people's emotions.
He provides absolutely no evidence that the letter even exists. -

Jehovah’s Witnesses do not seek truth and prefer to follow their hearts...
by garyneal init’s been a while since i posted some thoughts of mine concerning the jehovah’s witnesses and the watchtower babble and trash society.
okay, i will be respectable and say it right, the watchtower bible and tract society.
i do, however, think about the doctrines quite a bit as well as the overall doctrines from christianity in general.

Garyneal, it would seem that JWs don't care too much about factual teachings. Some do and they seem to make some sort of sense out of it. However there is a point in time when their beliefs become emotionally based. I think this is perhaps what you mean by 'following their heart'.

That does come as a surprise Quarterback.
If you accept it will be a big adjustment for you both. For many Bethel is not what they expect. Many must love it because they stay so long.
If your wife hasn't been working I would imagine that the change will be huge. To be honest I made that comment about a good husband respecting his wifes feelings because of the general attitude that JW men display. There's even a little section on this months Broadcast where the Malefants (I think) are being interviewed. Their appointment at Bethel was because they wanted his services, the wife was required to be supportive and accept anything they gave her. She explains that she was not looking forward to their appointment at Bethel and the job that she was given. She says she came to appreciate the loving association of the other Bro's and Sis's at Bethel. She made it sound like she really enjoyed the sanctuary of their little world (but never mentioned whether she had joy in the work she was assigned). -

For all those that still think Quarterback is being serious, he's not. As if he would take the job and put his wife to work in the laundry and for no pay. No decent husband would do that on purpose.
Now that talk you've been assigned to give will require a list of the best websites to avoid and enough copies made to hand out to all those in attendance.

Dutch convention: disassociation in broader perspective
by Gorbatchov intoday at the utrecht international convention in holland there was no "word in spanish" about dissassociation.. "we avoid any contact with dissassociated witnesses.
not only sinners, but in a broader perspective, also inactive witnesses".. there was a lot of noise in the hall direct after that moment.. so, no fading escape in the near future, i expect.. g..

They used to say 'disfellowshipped' and they were portraying Sonya as having been df'd a number of years ago, therefore they used the old term.

Could you ask your wife to sew the seams on Anthony Morris' trousers in by a couple of inches, they're a little baggy at the moment.

Trolley cart "witnessing" is getting ridiculous
by oppostate ini really fail to see how much actual "witnessing" is occurring with the trolley carts.publishers, usually pioneers, just stand or sit there not engaging anyone and count their time.. the only thing i notice that it's accomplishing is brand exposure for jw.0rg so the public is exposed to the logo and literature/poster card headlines.. take for example this "evening" witnessing by a pioneer elder while on summer holiday/vacation.. .
is this not a wth kinda moment when you consider the years of slaving, knocking on doors, business territory and bible studies we had to keep performing so we weren't branded a "weak" publisher?.

Along with Stan Livedeath's suggestion, why don't they stick a sign at the front of their homes with the JW org logo and a picture of some literature with a bit inviting people to knock on their doors for some literature.
They are so willing to invade other peoples privacy.
They'll likely feel that they will be a target for retribution but what better way to satisfy their need for persecution.

Perfect Example of JW Dumbing Down
by thedepressedsoul injust take a look at this video.
i think arguing or debating scriptures is the most pointless thing ever.
everything at their meetings are so basic with no explanation.

I thought the funniest bit was when she was trying to get away and attempted to close the door on the guys. That just says so much about their current day, door to door witnessing.
I guess it's a hard topic for her to discuss considering she is not even a spiritual Israelite. -

Ask An Elder
by BeeEmBee inok, 4 questions sprang to mind in light of the recent elders letter.. if you get to the kingdom hall and its on fire, brother a says he saw brother b set it ablaze purposely, .
who do you call first and why?
if you get to the kingdom hall and the sound system has been stolen, sister a says she saw brother b loading it onto his van,.

There are a number of different scenarios. My question to the Elder would be, at what stage do you either inform the police or ensure that it has been reported to them and not let them divert from that question.
