in an almost matter of fact way, they will state that this is the year jesus finished refining his people and appointed the fds.
the only problem is there is little proof or even prophetic antitypes given for why this must have been the year.

I can't help but think that the Watchtower is mad for publicity and persecution of its followers. Doing things in secret and inciting a mass campaign putting the Government in a bad light only causes trouble. This was not about the good news or evangelising.
This JW, probably like many of them, had no idea what the outcome would be but did he even think of the serious problems they could cause for themselves and their families? No because they will blindly follow the instructions from the GB.
This is just more real evidence of why we need to get our families out. The Russian Brothers are already drinking their koolaide, I feel sick for them and their future.

Last song at Regional Convention of 2016 was stolen from Audiomachine

it's stolen from a group called audiomachine off their album epica.
the song is called eternal flame and it is exactly and i mean, note for note the same as the music video.

There is a female JW who discusses this with 2 Elders (who think they are big wigs, they both claim to have known Ray Franz and what went on, even discrediting him for being willing to 'take into his fold'?? a disfellowshipped drunkard who had previously done many good things for the org).
You won't believe the discussion but they are not interested as to whether it was stolen or not. They suggest that the song may have been written by a JW and stolen by Epica. This lady gets in to trouble for having the Album or copy of the Album cover in her home because it is Satanic. The hypocrites but even worse, they tell her to stay with the organization even if it doesn't have God's Holy Spirit backing it, purely because it's still God's organization.

The testimony of ex JWs did not help their cause. The following was reported
Also in the course of the trial the court heard testimony of several former members of the organization, who declared that "total control" was established over devotees.
A witness from St. Petersburg, Natalia Koretskaia, who was a member of the organization from 1995 to 209, described how its members "live in complete total control of devotees by the Administrative Center."
Jehovah's Witnesses formally follow a canonical observance of rules, but in reality the issue is the total control of the personal life of a person, his intimate life, education, and job," the witness said.
Another former member of the organization, Pavel Zverev, declared that because of the leadership of the Jehovah's Witnesses he was left without higher education.

New "paradise" video preview? "Will you be there?"
by stuckinarut2 inmy wife (unstuck) just saw a new 2-3 min video in her ex jw facebook feed, depicting a "paradise" scene preview.. it was complete with aerial shots and slow motion montages, with moving music.. scriptures were quoted across the screen, such as rev 21:3,4. i shazamed the music, and it came from another "worldly" album called "world of dreams.future world music" (you should see the song titles from that album!).
is it an official wt video, or some private persons production?.
if it is official, they seem to have once again resorted to desperate emotional manipulation tactics..... anyone else know?

I wonder how people will travel to those places in the future and it's amazing to see just a handful of humans in those beautiful places, I guess vacation time will be very limited.
